  1. Beautiful views of Tokyo. I have never been myself, but my dearest friend lived there 7 years from his late teens to mid 20s, and returned there often through his life and told me all his adventures and showed me all his photos from his 50 years career as a rock singer/musician /composer in Tokyo, London and New York. I miss him and wish I could see all his favourite places for myself, but that will never be

  2. I can not believe how dirty the walls, floor, and tables are. It looks like they haven't been cleaned in a long time. That is why I carry baby wipes with 70% Alcohol in them to wipe down the area. However, if I was paying $16, 500.00 for a flight, it had better be clean!

  3. Sorta sad for you about the steak. I know a lot of people like to eat raw meat, I however am not able to eat it. All of my meat has to be fully cooked or I end up in hospital from not being able to digest it. Also, I found out a lot of Japanese people love raw eggs….I'm allergic so…nope and seeing people eat them…🀒 But a good question to take minds off raw food, have you ever tried the port or sherry wines? I usually drink sweet wine.

  4. That seat looks nice. It's the only way I would ever commit to a 14-hour flight, and since I can't afford the ruinously expensive price, I will never go to Japan, even though I would love to visit the country.

  5. Thank you for that absolutely stunning descent into Tokyo, I felt as if I was actually flying in myself, completely mesmerizing! Such a beautiful city πŸ’—

  6. Great video! I'm a travel agent and hope to get to Japan soon. Maybe we can hang out and take a ferry/train voyage! πŸ™‚ Keep on making great content, I really enjoy watching your travels.

  7. $16300 dollars dear god I could never afford that. For those who fly often and can use points more power to them. Too bad you couldn't finish the beef but then again red meat isn't good for you πŸ˜‚. I will visit your country one day .

  8. The hummus and salads looked amazing, as did the prawns, to the point I hadn't even noticed the chicken or the mashed potatoes! I wonder if you flew back a few weeks ago, when I flew into JFK for my birthday weekend of seeing Billy Joel. Alas, I wouldn't know where to get curry in JFK, but my husband had some lovely Indian curry right by our hotel in Chelsea.

And wow! I thought the business class was pretty swanky, but that first class is amazing!

  9. Glad you are okay, I guess you weren't in the Earthquake Zone. What a flight!! JAL in-flight dining never disappoints you, alwoays luxurious food and wine selections. We forgive you fo not fininshing that hunk of Beef!! Glad you had Canadain Lobster, it's been a long time since I have had any.

  10. Well at least they have one American whiskey, unlike ANA which has none. But those table and countertops at your seat were so DIRTY! It looks like a great ride, though, and a bargain at only 70,000 miles + $240 US.

  11. just looking at food and no plan to eat. a few moments later. tadaaaa.. roast chicken, mashed potatoes as part I. then, burger and cheese cake as part II. love this.
