Hi. We'll be arriving at Haneda @12am. Stalls might be closed so where can we get welcome suica and sim cards? Thanks
still,…. people coming to Japan who don't speak Japanese and understand literature and history and culture … it seems like Japan is just a Disneyland …
I periodically check if hotel booking websites have sales or if the properties themselves have sales, even after I initially book a hotel. I saved almost USD 200 from my initial booking total price by shopping around and finding a comparable property with promotional discounts.
As far as accomodations, Osaka is considerably cheaper than Toyko. Im here now and granted I came in January (during winter, off peak time) and im paying $800 or less. Granted it is a studio in south of Dotonbori but takes like 15 minutes to get there or 20 minutes by bike. When i was looking for accomodations on Airbnb in Tokyo, the same type of accomodation would have easily been $2000/month. In the Chou ward of Osaka, prices were $1200/a month for studio/1 bedrooms. Apa hotels were around $1200 a month in the Chuo Ward or Umeda. And its been easy to travel from Osaka. I have been to Tokyo, Fujikawaguchiko, Matasumo, Nagano City, Kanazawa, Fukui, Kyoto, Kobe, Himeji, Hiroshima, Miyajima, Fukuoka and Nagaski. And im here until April 5 and glad i stayed in a lowkey neighborhood of osaka over Tokyo.
drat i clciked to get notification when the live chat started and i still missed it!! hope you do another one soon
Lol wonder who the one poking you is about the jr pass lol

Here is a question: do all these cherry trees that will soon blossom, also produce edible cherries?
With all these cherry trees, one could imagine that Japan is one of the main producers of cherries in the world.
Traveling from narita to Tokyo station, it would be nice to have a video on that.
And how many gigabytes do you recommend per day on the pocket Wi-Fi?
I watch all of your videos and absorb all the information 100%. Which app do you recommend for translating from Japanese into English? I mainly need it for being able to do shopping, read product info on packages, recipes, menus etc. not for conversing with people. Thanks once again for your always so topical contents!!! Grateful greetings from wintery Finland!
Are there places in Tokyo to forward your luggage, if the place your staying does not offer that service?
