Um for you um and it basically goes through all the main main spots of Osaka I think that Osaka Castle is a great place to start probably early in the morning um then dendon town is pretty cool um so let me just get that one for you Osaka checking out the Osaka

Guide is definitely something that you might be interested in I’ve just put it there we have visiting Tokyo Kyoto Osaka Hiroshima kazawa Nago and some more to Jo Sakura this year awesome given that it’s peak season how early in advance should we book um all our trains train

Tickets well I would suggest that if you do know more if you know when you’re going to be traveling you might as well just book them all the great thing is that um that um you should be okay if you book them a day or two in advance

Really I wouldn’t leave it for the exact same day if you can usually um even during Peak peak season usually if you book one or two days in advance it’s fine but if you do have a good a good itinerary and you know exactly when you’re going to be leaving then why not

Do it all in one go and and get that done with and you don’t have to worry anymore about the um about anything you know about the trains if you know what I mean so yeah my only saying question given the fact one generally needs to book in

Advance is there a chance to make adjustments on the go while you’re in Japan for more than 10 days absolutely yeah um there’s definitely a chance to make adjustments on the go and I think the key to making adjustments on the go is the type of accommodation that you

Book if you book with free cancellation um then you should be good to go because most of these places they allow you to cancel up to 24 hours before so um if you do need to adjust where you’re going to go you could theoretically just

Cancel and make a a new booking so you should be fine I would say trying to Japan at the end of May I may have a few questions we’re going to Tokyo Kyoto and Hiroshima so ask away that’s what we’re here for if I don’t answer it um also

Are we so many questions so I will try to get to everyone do you know any traditional place near Osaka Kyoto or Tokyo I can visit for one day trip not crowded with tourists H that’s a little bit difficult especially in the area um I would suggest something like um

Kinosaki onen it’s a little bit touristy I guess but it is a little bit of a trek and it to make it a worthwhile for a day trip you would probably need to um get up quite early and and you know to do the whole trist thing apart from that

You could go to um uji which is less people go there but it’s still quite still a little bit twisty um so those are probably my two recommendations sort of thing for for day trips um that are traditional do I need to buy an icy card for my

4-year-old I do not believe so I’m I’m very s sorry Avic I don’t actually know the answer all I know is that I actually traveled with a 4-year-old and I can’t remember having to having to have a an icy card for my four year fouryear old well not my four-year-old my friend’s

Four-year-old maybe somebody in the comments can answer that if you have experience with younger kids I’m having difficult difficulty difficult time buy maing can ticket on night can I buy them at the station on on the day of when we want to go or should I really be buying

Ahead of time um Karen it all depends on when you’re going to go what the season is and what how busy things are um I would say that generally I’ve bought many times I’ve been able to get Chen Hanson tickets on the day without any

Problems um I guess the issue is if it’s um early morning commuter sort of like um time it may be a little bit more difficult but I always suggest if you can purchase them the day before then just for for for peace of mind and also something that you’re not like um

Hon hon tips it’s called haon tips okay and would you have any recommendations on booking rans like where would you start searching as the ones in kyota pretty expensive and you know rans are generally expensive and I think that when it comes to rokan the key is to share with people because

Generally if you’re a Solo Traveler or your one person um it’s going to be more expensive usually a lot of the time it’s per room and then um and then you know the the food Etc would be would sometimes be included but be added per person but usually it’s per room um so

The first thing I would say is if you can share then it will be cheaper the second thing I would say is that I’ve used um plenty of websites like Japanese guest house I think it’s called you can search Japanese guest house I’m sure it will come up I’ve used them plenty of

Times they they only list um rokan style accommodation and um they’re trustworthy I’ve used them a few times and I know that other people have used them before so um that’s where I would go and obviously when it comes to accommodation it all comes down to pretty match the

Quicker the the the sooner you start booking um the cheaper things are going to get or at least the more the more Choice you’re going to get how long should you spend in each area in Tokyo that’s an impossible question impossible question I see some people do three four

Or more places in a day but I wonder should I just give places more time also just something to do in Tokyo on the 20th of of um April my birthday so what I would say is that Nick there are a few things that you can do on your birthday

Specifically for example if you go to the Tokyo Tower on your birthday you will get a discount and you will get a postcard uh a birthday card which is kind of nice there are some other things that you can do in in Tokyo we do a quick um Google search um birthday

Offers Tokyo and you’ll you’ll be able to get some offers off or discounts for being your birthday or for being your birthday um week which is always really cool and I like that Japan does that now when it comes to um spending time in Tokyo in in certain areas I like to have

This rule where I set myself three or maybe four things that I am happy to see on a day and maybe I have you know possibly three things that I’m happy to see in one day and and the fourth and the fifth thing are just bonuses so if I

See those three things usually in the same area then I’ll be happy and then I’ll have two additional things to to do it all depends on how long you have in Tokyo if you have a whole week in Tokyo then obviously you can spread things out

And you can spend a whole day in an area but if you’re only going to be in Tokyo for two or 3 days then you might have to choose the main main attractions or the main things that interest you and only spend like a morning or an afternoon in

An area is what I would say I’m missing up my trip with soul so we’ll have two suitcases if starting in Tokyo and going to Kyoto Osaka and Hiroshima before going back to Tokyo do you recommend recommend storing the extra suitcases in Tokyo starting in Tokyo going to

Kyoto Osaka and hoshima before going back to Tokyo what you can do actually um Mason what you can do is a little bit sneaky but you could actually depending how long how long in advance but um you could store it and I would say that that that’s probably a good idea but you

Could always luggage forward it in advance for example I’m not very sure what the exact date but I think it might be six days five or six stays in advance you can actually luggage forward your extra suitcases to your next hotel or sometimes if you’re staying in exactly

The same Hotel usually they’re really really kind and they will actually keep your luggage for you if you it’s I’ve done it before where I’ve actually um left luggage in a hotel and I’ve actually gone away for 2 weeks traveled to OK kaido and returned to the same

Hotel because they were fine knowing that I was in in you know staying in the same Hotel so um yeah definitely definitely I think so yeah we’re planning on buying tickets not the ja pass we will be going to um Kyoto from Tokyo then from Kyoto to Hiroshima and

Then back to back to fly home from Tokyo we have 14 days best ways to go okay this is what I would personally do and I would probably um do that sort of General General um Tokyo sandwich where I would spend a few days in Tokyo at the

Beginning a few days in Tokyo at the end obviously head down to to Kyoto spend your time in Kyoto head to Hiroshima for maybe one or two nights um just to you know chill but then on the way back I would probably from Hiroshima maybe do a

Stop in Osaka for a night before returning to Tokyo just because depending how you feel from Hiroshima to Tokyo can be quite quite a a train journey over four hours four and a half hours um potentially um so and Osaka is the kind of place that is great for for

An overnight stay dobri the night life the night vibe in Osaka is pretty good especially for if you’ve never been before so um that’s potentially what I would recommend how you you sort out your trip um check out my my um twoe Japan itinery for some ideas that you

In Japan Japan Japan Japan will be the the guy for that what is a good app to find a good restaurant and do restaurants generally let for foreigners book in advance yeah you should be able to book in advance normally if you can communicate that you want a booking they

Will book for you but you need to communicate find a way to communicate with them in terms of restaurants I think a big tip would be to use Google Maps and to instead instead of um searching sushi for example in English search for find out what the translation

Or the or the characters for sushi is in Japanese and if you put in those characters into Google Maps you’ll get a lot more recom a lot more um access to a lot more restaurants and ratings and recommendations Etc um so yeah just be aware that a lot of um

A lot of people um basically a lot of restaurants are like on the first second third fourth floor and you might get confused do they celebrate Valentine’s Day in London they do they do absolutely yes um let’s see is it worth going to kazawa do they have good street food Mike

Wouldn’t specifically say that Kaza is a street food sort of place but it’s definitely a very cultural place which which has a lot of great food especially kazawa Cari check it out what techa have you bought in Japan that works in Europe pretty much everything I don’t think

Mot Castle um worth a visit since the 2016 of damage you see this is an interesting story um Tech in the city I’m a I’m I’m um a firm believer in supporting areas that have been damaged by natural disasters like in Japan um and I know that the the Noto earthquake

That um affected that that Peninsula has has incurred quite a lot of damage so probably you wouldn’t want to go specifically to that Peninsula however if we want to support that area then kazawa is a great way of of supporting that general area now what I’m getting

To is that basically I went to um to Kumamoto in 2016 literally 2 months after the earthquake um I it was already in my itinerary and I had everything free cancellation and I could have canceled and I could have changed my itinery but I decided that um I wanted

To support the the city so myself and my friend we went and we spent two days in kumot two nights in Kumamoto and um and I’m so glad that that I went there to support the city unfortunately obviously the castle was damaged and we weren’t able to see the castle in fact the

Castle was pretty much in Ruins um so it was it was very sad for us that we W unable to see the castle especially me I’m a I’m a I love Japanese castles so yeah um so I can’t answer the question right now I don’t know how well they’ve
