At last i travelled diff part of japan recently such beautiful country .with God grace we experienced Autumn trees ,Christmas decorations everywhere too beautiful. TY for your informative videos it helped a lot.
I will be visiting with 2 friends for the last 3 weeks of December and will be flying out on New Years. Are all the bullet trains fully booked up in December? We were planning to take the trains from Narita to Tokyo to nagoya, then to maibara, kyoto, onomichi, Hiroshima. Then Himeji on Christmas and go that evening on the train to Tokyo. But is everything full already or is it still possible to get tickets the day of?

We were supposed to be in Tokyo from December 5-20, 2023 but my wife got sick 1 day before our flight…sad to say our trip to Tokyo was cancelled…

Another terrific update Kengo san. We arrive in Tokyo in 3 weeks time. Have our shinkansen tickets reserved for Kanazawa on New Years Day and then back to IIyama, and looking forward to ringing in the new year at Senso-ji! I remember last year when you were thanking people for 1.5k subscribers, I was preparing for my trip in March and was happy for you. Glad your channel has grown. Can't wait to come back to Japan in two years with my girlfriend this time. I also recommend people visit Koyasan as a day trip from Osaka, it really is a beautiful place.

We won’t get to Tokyo until 12/16 to exchange our jr pass and planning to reserve seats from Tokyo ti Osaka on 12/24 and return 12/29. Do you know it will be full?
Tokyo'a winter illumination is the best. I love just strolling in Roppongi and Akasaka after dark between Christmas and early January even if it's very c+old. The nice thing is December is dry and sunny most of the time.
I looove walking past stores in the season, almost every one of them play Mariah Carey or KinKi's Cinderella Christmas 😂. Altho I think Japan's KFC is a bit aji ga usui compared to Indonesia, I try to eat some when Im there in December.
My fav jinja for Hatsumode is Toyokawa Inari ❤ but hatsuhinode is usually in Osaka after watching oshogatsu live concert with my friends 😂 I bring lots of Kairo and drink lots of warm sake hehehe
It's sad I can't go this year-end because of work.. Maybe, hopefully 2023-2024. Last was 2020 new year and I got a daikichi, hoping for a great year. I guess that didnt happen right 🤭
