I enjoyed staying at the Mitsui Garden Hotel Kyoto Kawaramachi Jokyoji. It has a great location in central Kyoto, within walking distance of several metro stations. You can also walk to the Kamo River and the popular Southern Higashiyama area, where many of the famous sites of Kyoto are, including Kiyomizudera, Ninenzaka, Sanenzaka, Gion and many other Japanese temples and shrines. The hotel’s affordable and very stylish, with traditional Japanese details. It’s on the site of Jokyo-ji, a small temple that’s right outside. The hotel also has an onsen – a public shared bath (not natural hot spring water, but you get a similar experience to an onsen) that guests can use for free. The video includes a room tour, a look around the hotel, how to book, why I chose this hotel, the location, how to get there from the main Kyoto station, a baggage service, hotel facilities and what’s nearby.

No way, I can't believe you stayed there! We got back about 3 weeks ago and stayed there for 5 days, it was by far our favourite hotel of the trip so thank you for letting us relive it through your video 😊 I was about to be jealous of your view…until I saw it was the same wall view that we had 🤣
i highly recommend the Mitsui Garden hotel in Nihombashi. that has my become my go to hotel when in tokyo.
The incense in the lobby makes this not for me, sadly, as I'm a bit sensitive. Looked nice otherwise, and it is in a good location.
Food-youtubers Shinichi and Satoshi stayed there and made a video too, to check out if you'd like another view of it.
