McDonald’s locations around the world always have their unique special menu items, specific to the country you’re in. We love checking out McDonald’s to see what these are, and here in Colombo we’re tasting the Sri Lankan food on the special menu.

The HUGE spicy chicken footlong was legitimately massive, full of spicy flavour. This huge spicy chicken footlong was one of the best items on the menu for both taste, flavour and value. Curry and rice is the national dish here in Sri Lanka and probably the most popular street food in Sri Lanka, so of course McDonald’s has their own version!

    Hello there, hungry two! 😊

    McD Colombo seem to have such sizeable servings on their menu. There's no kidding with the length of that foot long chix sandwich and serving of the curry rice dish. Both look quiet flavorful and filling too.

    Steph got me chuckling with "pretending to be meat" burger patty line. 😂 I've personally come across those "pretend meat" items too in PH, so that what looks like chick pea burger patty is an appetizing and welcome distinction.

    I felt a bit envious with Chris chix fillet, since there's only the regular sized chix nuggets at our local McD branch. And as always, moving along with an ultimate bite seems challenging, but finding a way to make it through. 😊

    The chocolate cone also looks quite tasty and fun to eat, crunchy chocolate crust + soft vanilla ice cream. 😊
