  1. It really says a lot that you actually thought it OK to leave your bags outside unattended – that thought would never even enter my head.

  2. as a drunken pot smoking Canadian that is not used to bicycles everywhere, I almost got killed by bicycles everywhere lol… entirely my fault, I of course would.look for cars but then would forget there's also bike lanes packed with people driving around.
it was also shocking to see so many Dutch people asking if I was ok due to drinking too much — in Canada, I don't think I've ever been asked if I was ok. don't get the wrong idea I drink maybe once or twice a year, and am not a troublesome drunk or anything.
The Dutch people are very kind.
edit; Amsterdam is expensive but I would have thought Tokyo would be worse.
Also the marijuana is imported to NL and could be sprayed with all sorts of nasty poisons, if you're going to try marijuana try it in Canada or somewhere else that it is regulated and safe

  3. Thank you for sharing! The Netherlands is my country too, however I live in Aruba and would never go back to the Netherlands to live but only for vacation 😅.

  4. Don't leave your bags unattended anywhere 🙂 Is this the second time that you have had unattended bags stolen?

  5. Glad you enjoyed you stay in our little country. Good to see my country left a mostly good impression.

Yeah.. Don't leave you things unattended outside. Especially in big cities. Things get stolen faster than you can blink. It's not so bad in the Dutch countryside but anywhere else it get stolen from under you.

I love the Japanese market in Leiden. I've been there several times, as I live 15 minutes from the city.

  6. "Mista Gogh" made me giggle. 😊 I hope you were able to replace your stolen items. Thank you for the nice video!

  7. 1) Dutch bike is much bigger than ordinary size. 2) House boats are popular in 🇬🇧 too i.e canal in Lee Valley Regional Park is area 26 mile long, 10,000 acre is fantastic for cycling & houseboats to get around to Olympic Park in London. 3) security including bikes stolen has always been issues in big cities like Amsterdam and London. 4) 🍪 : yep in Amsterdam 😂

  8. I born as an Asian in Amsterdam and live there….small country with more then 100 different cultures because of the history.
I am Indonesian and its ok here but dont like it anymore
To busy and to free in everything….i like Spain more of the culture, weather, people etc….
There are beautifull places in Netherland but more outside

  9. Konnichiwa & Namu Amida Butsu from the Netherlands🙏 Love your channel and I hope to visit Japan soon🥳

  10. Great that you had a good time in the Netherlands 🇳🇱 Aki . I live in the netherlands. Hope you get your stolen bags back and stay safe on your travel. Ganbatte kudasai Aki.

  11. 10:34, 10:47: I recognize where that is, I live really close to those chickens! Nice to see someone visiting places in the Netherlands that aren't Amsterdam – but I wouldn't have expected them to visit Warmond, of all places!

  12. Thank you for spreading cultural awareness! Your videos are always so relaxing, enjoyable and informative 💫👍🌻

  14. That kimono girl painting is by Breitner, not Van Gogh! Breitner had a whole series of women dressed in kimonos!

  15. The seagulls by the herring standa are very aggressive😂. Sorry your bag was stolen there. It's nice to see you visited so many places while you were here.

  16. What a beautiful video you made about your experience in our country!🇳🇱 I’m so happy it made nice memories for you! And you included our picture 7:55 too! Wow! Thank you so much! We feel honoured and forever treasured to have met you! ❤

  17. Great informational video. Sorry about losing your bag. I'd never leave my bags unattended as there are too many disrespectful people in the world. I really enjoy your videos.

  18. Nikko during red leaves hotels much too expensive. They charge one person for five persons including 5 persons breakfast otherwise you will not find a place to stay. Only some Chinese would still pay that.

  19. Hello Akisan. I'm glad you liked my country. You can get a lot of things from all over the world here, but some things are hard to find and you can only get at speciality stores. Usually I can find what I'm looking for. I'll be traveling to Japan again by the end of March. I hope to welcome you when you come back to the Netherlands.
