Adventures in Kyoto ⋮ Fushimi Inari, Shrine Cats, + Arashiyama Bamboo Forest [Japan Vlog 2023]

Did you really go to Kyoto for the first time if you didn’t visit Fushimi Inari Taisha and Arashiyama’s Bamboo Forest at least once? ; ) We decided to do both in 1 day! These iconic sights in Kyoto are a must if you have a chance to make time for them. There’s so much to see at Fushimi Inari Taisha. Besides the torii gates of course, along the way there are also smaller shrines, food and cafes, and most importantly, cats! We highly recommend going early in the morning (we arrived around 7:30AM). After that, it was straight to Arashiyama to check out the cute shops, get some coffee at % Arabica, and we saved the Bamboo Forest for the late afternoon which ended up not being too crowded for our personal liking!
