My family moved here 5 years ago so I found all this out the hard way.
We need more Norwegians and Sami people who complain, everyone should complain about every little problem if possible! We're the "best" country and perhaps your country is the "best" country too, but that means nothing when we can be so much better. Still I see the potential of our country of Norway to be an inspiration towards others, to change our country for the better to change the world for the better.
I'm proud of many aspects of our government and people, but we are lacking still. We need more energy and honor in our country. And I myself suffer from Norwegian shyness and often times laziness.. so perhaps I too should be better for our country and for our world!
A country supports a hero, turns him into a successful person making lots of money, he has no worry in the world about a good retirement, will never live on the streets, or work his life away in a factory for peanuts, yet the person still bickers when he has to pay an affordable tax bill.😂 He betrays the people who made him who he is today, goes to Switzerland to hoard even more riches. Norway has never been a rich country. It's on the periphery, geographically, climatically and culturally. It's the way it is. Feel your pain brother, We have almost the same situation here in Canada, thanks to reckless decisions the current liberal government make and out of control immigration. Millions in Canada rely on foodbanks, only to make it thru the week, and those include working ppl whom spend their entire salary on rent, and have no money left for groceries. Food prices quadrupled at cases and now Canadians are forced to pay fees called Carbon taxes that makes everything more expensive, including food, fuel, gas. and more. Young Canadians get their foods from a dollar store and completely gave up on the idea of ever owning a home. Canada became a safe haven for radicals, terrorists and agents from the CCP, Iran, Russia and other dictatorships and a dirty money laundered heaven for investors. So yeah this is only the tip of the iceberg, Just like you in Norway, we feel it mate. At least Norway has a more strict immigration policy.

It is known in Norway about the child adoption thing, but perhaps we read different papers? I dont think anyone can think any country is perfect, and neither is Norway. It never has been. Just because it ranks high on some lists and some YT people have made videos about how awesome Norway is, doesnt mean there cant be flaws.

I live in Norway and the worst thing is the food. First the quality of food is quite low, similar to discount food in France, barely eatable sometimes. And the worst is the lack of variety of products in the supermarkets, be prepared to eat the same product every day. And people here doesn't see to mind that much. I guess they prefer to spend money in their houses and cars, so there is no market for good food.
Yeah, this Child Protection Services thing is not that easy, and saying it's not discussed is inaccurate at best. And, spending a few seconds on this portraying it like all these claims made about Childe Protection Services are true is just awfully wrong. Yes, this is important to discuss, but if we're to discuss it, it has to be done properly and with facts.
First of all, there are huuuuuuge differences between the cases in the ECHR, and what's being claimed about NCPS. No, there are no kidnappings, child trafficking, pedophilia, children being given to Norwegians who can't get children on their own and shit like that. That is utter nonsense and something I wont spend more time discussing.
So, let's examine some of the facts beginning with stats. Norway has list 25 cases, won 6, and 13 has been rejected by the court, and very very few cases are even considered. But rarely has the ECHR criticized the CPS decisions to take custody of these children, but rather limitations on visitations and other technicalities regarding ECHR article 8. And this is very very important to know and acknowledge going into this discussion. Most adjustments Norway has had to done following these trails are related to how much interactions there can be between parents and their children, where parents now gets more.
And, obviously there are lot's of feelings at play, and when we see pictures and videos of Children being taken away from their parents, and parents telling their stories on the internet and to the media, one should also realize that this is the information from one part only. CPS is prohibited by law to challenge these claims, and this they stand unchallenged.
What people must realize however is the fact CPS never ever "targets" a family without reasons or concerns about child safety. That's not to say mistakes are never made, but in most cases there are actual valid concerns. Contrary to what many seems to believe getting their Information from videos on youtube and media headliners.
But, obviously, there is this thing called clash of culture and law. Where some countries accept that parents are allowed to beat the shit our of their children, in Norway you are not allowed to physically harm them at all. This causes problems when people from other cultures travles to Norway and suddenly finds them selves under Norwegian law. Parents who just spanked their child because it misbehaved might, like they use to, suddenly find themselves having an issue with the law. Not that a spanking automatically makes you loose your children.
I've been on both sides of CPS, and I can assure everyone that the people working there have the best intentions, but focuses on children rights and safety, not parent's.

It's crashing big time!! And employers are exploiting foreigners / cheap labor and also wage theft is common! I went through it unfortunately. The union confirmed i wasnt paid all my money, and i reported the company to Arbeidstilsynet, who hopefully has taken action.

The rich doesn't flee to Switzerland because they don't want to pay taxes. They pay plenty of taxes. But they also has to pay a wealth tax that foreigners doing business don't. Unfair competitions which leads to business ending up in the hands of foreigners…. or Norwegians living outside of Norway.

It's kinda sad to see Norway for a long time being the leader of Europe when it comes to quality of life to becoming its assh*le. Surprised me even more that my home, Poland, is becoming a country worth living in. Then again are trying to leave socialism behind while rich european countries seem to embrace that lucid ideology. Some key and strategic social reforms are good but taxing your citizens to oblivion and then pissing it away on welfare and "green energy" which doesn't do as well as people expected it to do… well, if you embrace the same way Norway did you'll see your country crumble into nothing in a very short time 🙂

When I look at the internet, most Trolls seems to come from Russia and not from Norway. Another sign of downfall! About Orcs however I cannot judge the current situation since I am neither Norwegion nor Russian nor American. I can't spend any Euro's or Dollars that you asked, since I have only Swiss Francs on my account! But wait… it seems that more and more people in our Swiss streets talk Norwegian!. First I thought it were Trolls from Scandinavia and closed the door and windows in great fear! But no, these were people that try to pay things in Norwegian Crones! I got out and talk to them and thought that they want to see real mountains once in their lives, you know, the big fellows that are over 4'000 meter in hight 😉 I asked them what they want to see: the magnificant Jungfrau, the difficult to climb Eiger or perhaps the most beautiful of them all, our queen, the Matterhorn! However, they asked for UBS !. Well that is a mountain I didn't know and I told them they are in the wrong country!
