  4. Yes, Onomichi is a wonderful place, and many movies and anime have been made about or set in this city. It is a famous place popular with Japanese women who love to travel, but not yet known to foreigners (but it is better than being a noisy, famous tourist destination full of tourists, lol). Onomichi Ramen is one of the most famous local ramen in Japan, along with Sapporo Ramen and Hakata Ramen. The soup is a light soy sauce broth based on small fish and chicken broth, with pork back fat floating on top to mellow it out. The flat noodles are also distinctive.🍜
Speaking of which, did you visit the famous Senkouji Temple, which was prominently featured on the map you mentioned and is one of Onomichi's most famous landmarks? The area is also a large park with a private art museum. The cable car was built to go to Senkoji Temple in the first place. In other words, Senko-ji Temple is the star of the show, with many other temples playing supporting roles.
In addition, the "Shimanami Kaido," which crosses various islands from Onomichi to Shikoku via bridges, is famous among cyclists around the world as a sacred place. Bicycle rentals are available, so I suggest you try it again sometime. It really is a great feeling to ride a bike and feel the sea breeze while enjoying the spectacular view of the Seto Inland Sea and the beauty of the many islands.🌊🚴

  5. No need to go tot hat palce. Just go to Philippines, there are cats and dogs everywhere.
