This is the night city walk in “Ladies Market”, the most famous street market of the most densely populated place in Hong Kong and therefore also worldwide: Mongkok on Kowloon Peninsula (旺角, 九龍)

Hong Kong 香港, the night city which – along Tokyo 東京 – inspired the Cyberpunk look and feel, defined its aesthetics in film and literature. Movies like Blader Runner and Ghost In The Shell directly cite Hong Kong as the major influence for their style, William Gibson’s Necromancer mirrors its grittiness.
