Tokyo Travel Vlog | Kagurazaka tour | Visiting Shrine | Cozy cafe, bakery and French patisserie

Hello! I’m Hiroko.
This video is a second series of my most favorite place in Tokyo, Kagurazaka. (Please see the first series https://youtu.be/HbkcbEt2bHM)

In this video, I’m walking around the very local area in Kagurazaka. People walking there are mostly locals.
First of all, I visited Akagi Shrine, a small local shrine in Kagurazaka. It was renovated about 20 years ago, designed by Kengo Sumi, one of the most famous architect in Japan. The design is simple and modern, so it looks different from typical Japanese shrines.

Then, I’m sharing my favorite cafe, bakery and patisserie. They are also local spot and absolutely hidden gem!

I hope you will enjoy strolling Tokyo with me.

  1. Very interesting that you show us how to pray in front of the shrine, I didn't know that. and seeing animals everywhere again. very interesting that these are protection dogs. Do dogs have that much importance🤔 Because I've heard that people eat dogs in Asia, I think that's a bit illogical. and the French pastry shop is really very nice, they have very tasty things there, I have never seen such beautiful croissants😊
