Diving MASSIVE Japanese Shipwrecks in Coron Philippines

Coron Palawan Philippines is becoming legendary. World class island hopping and beautiful blue water is reason enough to visit. It’s already paradise for adventure travel, but the Scuba diving in Coron is a hidden secret. Not many know that it is home to some of the best wreck diving in the world.

Just north of Palawan Island, and about 30 meters below the surface in Coron Bay is a fleet of Japanese warships, sunk by American bombers in 1944 as they were fleeing the Philippines. These ships are massive. Some are over 150 meters long, and almost completely intact.

In this Philippines travel vlog, I team up with Exploring with Cody, and we tag team this incredible location. This was one of my favourite adventures in the Philippines. Let’s go back!

  1. 3 years after I'm watching this. Russian sunkin ship brought me here. That intro reminded us of what exactly happened in our home islands. My parents in their early 90's just gone bye bye but yes this was their time. They didn't say much they just go on with their lives. We're an island in between Palawan and Leyte the battle of Leyte were pretty much documented. The battle in Palawan I haven't seen a documentary. May the souls of those who fought hard to save our asses from becoming Japanese rest in peace and to the Japanese people may this remind you and all of us that War is not the answer to expand your greed and territory. I feel like we were Ukraine 🇺🇦 only difference is we have a savior the Almighty USA 🇺🇸. Our deepest gratitude to Gen. Douglas McArthur and his Men including the Philippine AFP. Thanks for your video. Very clear and awesome.

  2. How many times have you paid the price for grabbing onto things without gloves?
