S1 – Ep 409 – Kidd’s Beach and Winterstrand!

During our visit to Kidd’s Beach and Winterstrand, we arrived at our accommodation in the evening and it turned out to be very comfortable. The following morning, after a fantastic walk along the rocky shoreline, we set out to explore these two coastal gems. Kidd’s Beach was a haven of tranquility, with stunning natural beauty all around. We were lucky to discover Palm Springs Holiday Resort, which added to the charm of the place. Winterstrand, though smaller, had its own unique appeal, and we had a blast exploring both of these picturesque destinations. #DustBugs #adventuretravel #southafrica #southafricavlog #travelongravel #easterncape #kiddsbeach #winterstrand

  1. Hi Duatbugs.

If you're ever in East London (Eastern Cape) area, my dad and I would to meet you both.

Being watching you travel all over. 😊

  2. What a beautiful sea route to take – so many lovely sights to see and stops to make!! Thank you DustBugs -another gorgeous morning coffee delight

  3. Hi Curtis and Sonja, now that's an area i know like the back of my hand, Kidds Beach, Winterstrad, etc, family have lived there many years . Bihra is announced as Bee ( then a g in your throat,as if one is gargling) then ha, 😅, very different to the spelling. Hope I made sense of that one😂. Is a beautiful part of the company, thank you for taking us with, 🚙

  4. Wow Kidds Beach! Great childhood memories visiting with cousins from East London. No tarred roads then 1950s / 60s.

  5. Oh Wow love that you came to the Eastern Cape ❤ If you are in East London, please come for Tea. My Nephew & his wife & 2 daughters live in Winterstrand right on the Beach Front just walk across a road along a path and they are on the beach ⛱️ lovely view from the lounge. Take Care xxx

  6. Hi again i was shocked to see how much Kidds Beach has grown. It's always had that Holiday Vibe. Beautiful little place. I haven't been there for about 3 years. I Will definitely have to take a drive there soon 😊 Thank you ❤

  7. So happy to see you stopped in my home town. I grew up there and went to school there. It is a magical place and for me as well it has mushroomed into a town. Not a village anymore. Lovely memories came flooding back. We had a wonderful childhood living there. Loved it and special thanks for show casing its natural beauty.🎉❤🎉 as Sonja said.."This place has it all"

  8. Absolutely beautiful. The vegetation the sea and too much to mention. I agree Eastern Cape is stunning. It is so green all over. I really enjoyed this trip as i am not familiar with the two places we visited. Thank you so much for showing us this part of our country.. the drone footage was an extra bonus. Well done mr pilot. Next trip iam there waiting at the puckup point.

  9. Wow Curtis and Sonia my beautiful Kidds Beach lived there for 11yrs and children went to the school and how the place has mushroomed no longer a village. And the beach brought back many happy memories 😁

  12. Never been that far east in ZA. Eastern Cape looks lovely. I like the statues and coastal walks.

  13. Hi Curtis Sonia and Dusty, what absolute gems, I've never heard of either one of these villages/towns, very glad to have made the visit ❤

  14. Hi guys sent message but doesn't seem to have registered all I can is wow wow wow stunning beautiful scenery and beautiful beach thanks for taking me along cheerio till the next one

  15. HELLO TO THE PAIR OF YOU FROM BRADSDORP. IT IS SO WONDERFUL TO SEE AND HEAR A HUSBAND AND HIS LADY ENJOYING AND LOVING THE SAME THINGS. EXPLORING WITH THE SAME PASSION NATURE OF ANY KIND

  16. Hi guys – just wanted to mention – the cottage that you stayed in – it started off as a tiny little cottage – probably smaller than where you slept – over the years it was changed and bits here and there added on – we were always eager to see the next addition or change as the years went by .. until it is what is now ! I am an ex Kidds Beach Resident – some of the happiest years for my family and myself was the years we lived in Kidds Beach !
