In the last 8 years, more than 2 million migrants went to Germany. For most of those who have been there for a long time, the government has rented private apartments. Some for extremely high prices. Since there are hardly any more apartments available, prices have also risen dramatically. The large real estate companies from home and abroad have taken advantage of the situation and have also increased prices significantly. The government did nothing about it. Before that, apartments in Germany were very cheap to rent and buy.
