About Boeing 787 (from Wikipedia):
The Boeing 787 Dreamliner is an American wide-body jet airliner developed and manufactured by Boeing Commercial Airplanes. After dropping its unconventional Sonic Cruiser project, Boeing announced the conventional 7E7 on January 29, 2003, which focused largely on efficiency. The program was launched on April 26, 2004, with an order for 50 aircraft from All Nippon Airways (ANA), targeting a 2008 introduction. On July 8, 2007, a prototype 787 was rolled out without major operating systems, and then the aircraft experienced multiple delays until its maiden flight on December 15, 2009. Type certification was received in August 2011 and the first 787-8 was delivered in September 2011 before entering commercial service on October 26, 2011, with ANA.

From an Aussie, Isn't it funny how Turkish Airlines flies to 129 countries "more than any other", BUT… Australia & New Zealand.* It's like some at top STILL has hard feelings "πͺ".. Ironic, cause I'm pretty sure many Turkish love Australia & New Zealand. C'mon, Move on ππ

this guy complaints about the most mundane stuff … lol.. I have flown Turkish airlines many many times nd service is always amazing …among the best in the world
I flew Turkish business class from JFK to DEL via Istanbul. I missed the IST to DEL flight and they kicked me out from the return trip unless I paid $9K and flew two days later from IST to DEL!!! So they took my money, kicked me out of return and also listed the ticket back in their system. Iβm still fighting with them for a refund. Horrible airline.. never fly them. All good until some issue happens and you realize why Emirates and Singapore Airlines are the best.
you drink the coffee of the planes?? π havenβt you heard that thatβs the most dirty drink ever? π
There is nothing wrong with Turkish airlines, Turkish airlines offer superb service on the ground and in the air.
Hey Dan, thanks for the video. I was looking to fly their 787 to Istanbul next month, after I had two wonderful flights with them from Ulaanbaatar to IST to Miami this past week [A330/B777]. Both were daytime flights in their older business class seats. I generally prefer the newer business class seats airlines offer nowadays, but, I was surprisedly not bothered by the older seats, including the 2-2-2/2-3-2 configuration. It was my first time flying them long-haul. I recently flew them short-haul in Europe in business, and they were very good flights. With that said, like you, I was very unhappy when they closed the window shades on both long-haul daytime flights. I mean, that's why they give out eye shades…right? When I do get a window seat, like you, I love to look out the window…it would not have been allowed on these two flights. Also, the plane was so hot on both flights. Anyway, I will likely fly them again when I go to Tajikistan, as the service/food has generally been pretty good.
Turkish airlines is very overrated! Rather Emirates or British airways
Thanks for this. I wonβt be booking them, itβs a waste of Β£3K
Turkish Airlines is still better than any other European Airline that I have flown.
Still waiting for a disaster
You know what is interesting is that I only fly business/first class and I am more concerned with the size of the seat. I am 6ft2in, 245lbs, I need width and length here, I don't care about mirrors, charging stations or storage space. I'd rather have more seat space. That is what these airlines need to do, make the seats wider and the storage smaller.
I love Turkish airlines and i always travel with them the food they give is the Best ever now seeing them cutting its sad π. You are right they donβt focus on the Middle East, like Europe, because of the strong competition by the GCC airlines. Which in Europe no airlines give that good service and food and airport experience like Turkish Airlines and Istanbul airport. So yes they are better then all the European airlines and airports In almost everything they just miss first class . That why they push in Europa and USA because their products is a strong competitor in these markets For me Turkish airlines gives that charming and hospitable experience to the travelers in Europe they bring that test of luxury and commodity, from the GCC airlines to Europeans . Which Europa airlineβs are into cutting everything and making u pay for everything and airport experience not the best ,from my experience you donβt not enjoy your traveling process traveling from a European airport and European airlines like you do with Turkish airlines and airports and the all the GCC airlines and airports
Nice report! Hopefully you get to experience the new catering service on your next flight.
That is basically the same thing as Singapore Airlines Boeing 787-10 business class LOL
Is the myth trueβ¦ donβt drink coffee on a flight π
Smart concept. Lazy designing
I flew on 787-9 in business to Kuala Lumpur. I could not sleep one minute in this new seat. You must be small in height, but for me, in the flat bed position I felt like in a coffin. Compared to the large business seat on 777 this was a big disappointment.
Where may I find those seat maps you show in your videos? Greetings from Mexico.
On the other side turkish ai,Ines is a great
