Join us on Day 22 of our Japan journey as disappointment leads to an unexpected adventure in Asahikawa! Although our volcano plan didn’t quite pan out, we stumbled upon a breathtaking temple, adorned in the fiery hues of autumn. The scene was straight out of a movie, with a picturesque bridge and majestic koi fish. Later, we indulged in a delicious lamb BBQ experience at Mutton BBQ. This is the essence of long-term travel – finding beauty in unexpected places.
