  1. We received lots of comments tell us they prefer our newer style narrating the videos instead of just using subtitles. And while just like many, I personally like the classic Tripreports with subtitles very much, our analytics tell us you guys actually prefer the narrated videos.
However, narrating every video, fitting it with plenty of graphics and a dedicated intro is too much work to apply it to every video.
So with this video I wanted to see how you guys enjoy a version that’s not as in-depth, with fewer graphics and such, which was less work. That way we could potentially narrate most, if not all videos, with the best episodes still appearing in our Brutally Honest format with animations and maps once a week. Let me know what you think! 😄

  2. As a venezuelan you brought back so many memories. Thank you for being brave and flying a Venezuelan airline 🇻🇪

  3. Winter gonna talk about that dog underneath the plane? And how is David is able to perfect every accent.

  4. I remember very well working for Delta airlines and working as a ramp agent this exact aircraft..they used them for airline called Delta Express from Orlando to complete with low cost carrier's…solid plane… and very loud engines…

  5. If this plane ever retires (which I know might happen at some point), I wonder if Delta might buy it back and put it in the Delta museum as an exhibit since it was a Delta plane in the past

  6. Nice video! Thankfully, I was able to fly the Boeing 737-200 twice: First time was flight from Montreal (YUL )to Toronto-Pearson (YYZ) with Canadian Airlines, in 1998. And, the following year, I did my second flight, with now defunct Brazilian carrier VASP, from Belo Horizonte- Confins (CNF), my hometown airport, to Salvador (SSA).

  7. I flew the 737-200 many times in the 80s. Delta used to fly that aircraft between MEX – LAX. Also Aloha Airlines flew 737-200s back in those days.

  8. Hey! I loved your video! My Mum was a flight attendant for EasyJet from 2004 to 2009, and she remembers when they still operated the 737-200 and had their phone number on the side. It's so cool to hear stories from history about aviation.

By the way, could you review Conviasa's A-340? I'm curious to hear your thoughts on it.

  9. Nunca imaginé verte en volando en Venezuela, con una aerolínea Venezolana, como venezolano me pone feliz ❤ quisiera que nuestros aviones y aerolíneas fueran más modernos

  10. i've flown the 737-200 a few times with both Ryanair and British Airways years ago but I can't remember how many times as I was only young

  11. Boarding a 737-200 via air stairs while a dog sleeps on the tarmac underneath the aorcraft to get out of the rain. This is the quintessential South American aviation experience! 😂😂

I'm so glad you lived to share your experience! 👍

  12. Nice plane, I can still remember my flights in those planes 30 years ago. Also exiting a 727 through the rear stairs was really a nice experience in the old days😉

  13. Beautiful aircraft and a flying museum! Glad you were able to ride this plane during daylight and in good weather 😉

  14. 5:14 "exhilarating sound of the engines"
You sat behind the engines, all you'll hear is wind noise. Not the engine's mechanical sounds. Exhilarating indeed.
If you sit where you can see into the front intake, THAT's where the REAL engine sounds can be heard!

  15. You have an amazing Spanish pronunciation. It’s actually nice to listen to someone pronounce it in the native language, not English pronunciation. Big respect for that

  16. Venezuela was my first international vacation back in the 90's but we flew vasp's 200s

  17. What a great video! I have been on this series many times in years past, infact I was even on the 737-100 a few times when it was in the fleet of People's Express airlines back in the 80's! The clam shell thrust reverse 's were also found on the DC -9 jets and I was on a few Northwest flights where they used them to push back from the gate….no tug needed! If I remember right I flew this aircraft with Southwest, Piedmont, United, Midway, Air Florida, Air California, Vanguard, People's Express, Casino Express, and America West! Great little plane!

  18. The cabin on that 737-200 look very similar to another very old aircraft, Airfast Indonesia's MD–82/83s. I flew with them a lot and everything from the overhead buttons and lights to the bathroom itself is pretty much the same.

  19. You can say what you like about the (in aviation terms) antique but the business class seats are much better than 95% of current European business class seats. Probably because it used to be the American flavour of domestic first class.

  20. venezuelan here, i actually flew on one of these in 2016 on a flight to aruba on venezolana airlines, i can't remember very well because i was 6, but i remember the plane looking pretty good on the outside but really dated on the inside

  21. Great video! I’ve personally only flown on a 737-200 once. The good part about it was that I flew into Tegucigalpa on the Aviatsa 737-200, there’s no other comparable combination these days. (If you didn’t know Tegucigalpa is one of the most challenging airports to land in and 737-200s these days are incredibly rare.)
