A 24-minute sightseeing flight in Tokyo city flies by many landmarks. It is easy to go anywhere in Tokyo by public transport with a mobile phone for Googling the route using maps and GPS.
But while we walk on the floor of the forest of the buildings, or even below it, the visiting place is only relative to the train station. We will need to look around the city from the observation deck to understand what is where in the city.
This flight is like a moving observation deck from high above the buildings of Tokyo. And the 360-degree VR view should fit the city flight like this.
Try to take a look back after passing Senso-ji temple. The picture of the grey concrete forest, Tokyo Sky Tree’s significant presence and iconic Mt. Fuji is the signature view of this city.

– Take off from runway 34L of Haneda Tokyo International Airport.
– Fly low, heading north to Shinjuku
– Turn south and head to Roppongi, Tokyo Tower and Hamarikyu Gardens.
– Turn north toward Tokyo Station, flying over Ginza.
– Fly around Imperial Palace by clockwise
– Fly along the Kanda River from Suidobashi.
– Follow the Sobu Line toward Akihabara.
– Follow Edo-dori to Senso-ji Temple
– Turn around the Tokyo Sky Tree.
– Head south toward Tokyo Disneyland
– Fly over Disneyland and head west
– Make a water landing on the Port of Tokyo near Tokyo Gate Bridge.
