I Moved in With a Bhutanese Family! ๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ‡น

Join me on my incredible journey living with a local Bhutanese family in the small village of Punakha, Bhutan! This remote Himalayan country remained isolated for so long and has preserved their unique Buddhist culture. I fully immersed myself in their traditions, values, food, and way of life.

In this vlog, I’ll take you around the traditional Bhutanese farmhouse I lived in. You’ll see their altar room, kitchen with wood-burning stove, living quarters and even the farm animals they raise. I’ll introduce you to the warm, welcoming family who took such good care of me.

You’ll see a typical day for a farming family in rural Bhutan. We’ll harvest vegetables from their garden, collect eggs from the chicken coop and even help milk the cows and learn about yaks! We gather for a delicious family-style Bhutanese meal.

I’ll take you around the village and show you what life is like in their close-knit community. We’ll visit ornate temples, and browse local markets, and you’ll see their unique style of dress.

This was such an unforgettable experience for me. I hope this vlog transports you to the magical kingdom of Bhutan and gives you a little taste of this fascinating culture and people. Let me know in the comments if you’d ever travel to Bhutan! Don’t forget to subscribe for more global adventure vlogs. Thanks for watching!
