  1. Not far from the Craters of the moon is a museum of the Japanese internment camp. There is a nice visitor center and you can walk around and learn about the thousands of people that lived there during WWIl because we were so afraid. They delete with such unfairness with so much grace. Many of their children were even drafted. It is inspiring. It a great historical stop.

  2. We stayed at the campground at 'Craters of the Moon' and that was great, the wildlife came out at the setting of the sun.

  3. How were you guys right in my backyard and I didn't run into you somewhere?? I literally live right in the middle of all this and grew up about 4 miles from the ice caves in the little town of Richfield (born and raised) and I own a saloon in one of the oldest buildings left in town. Never been in them because I'm not a cave person but I have taken a lot of friends there to explore. We have so many Indian artifacts, lava tubes and caves in the desert surrounding us, very fun to explore on an ATV. Next time either of your families are in Southern Idaho let me know and I would love to show you some of the hidden gems that aren't on the maps. Hope you loved Southern Idaho!

  4. We camped at the campground there in the Craters of the Moon monument. Tight spots and all lava rock. Covered all the trails you hit. Nice you could meet up with FOS.

  5. You need to come to Oregon. You were already near the Wallowa Mountains. Go see Newberry Crater/Paulina lake near Bend. The make your way to the Oregon Coast. Maybe you’ve done Oregon already , I’m not sure , I have only been following you for a few months and I love watching your family adventures

  6. Goblin Valley in Central Utah. Galaxy Quest was filmed there.
We play sardines among the goblins….with limits of course. We did try hide-n-go-seek, but the first time I watched my littles run off to hide, my momma heart couldn't handle it. Sardines was safer, with momma staying with the littlest.

  7. I would hope that you get a chance to go to the bend Redmond area of Oregon visit lava Butte and the other things that are to be seeing around there that is all high desert and it one time that was all active volcano the Deschutes River is beautiful to see the metolius not to mention North and South twin wickiup Crane prairie North Davis Creek where the water comes straight up out of the ground in his actually pure and you can the temperatures about 34° for that water by the way Oregon has a tremendous amount to offer in the if you get a chance you definitely want to go see Crater lake there is no picture that I've ever seen that will do justice to what it actually looks like when you're there it is worth the in itself 🤠😎❤🤠

  8. Your in YT Christine aka Frugal Fit Moms hometown.

Loved watching & coming along on the adventure🥰🍁🇨🇦

  9. Painted Desert and Petrified Forest National Park jointly have some of the most otherworldly sites I've ever encountered. It's a wildly underrated region. Meteor Crater is also a big hit with kids. The entire route from Flagstaff to Albuquerque offers a ton of attractions that allow you to get off the beaten path for stunning landscapes.

  10. That entry into city of rocks reminded me SO much of Bryce that my brain just screamed that it's a grey version of it. How is this not better known?!? Thank you SO much for sharing, even though we've already crossed Idaho off our states visited bucket list we obviously didn't even scratch the surface and definitely need to go back!

  11. Unusual and stunning landscapes I always come back to Utah and the incredible landscapes. Deadhorse state park is awesome, canyonlands, Bryce is an underrated gem. So amazing! Can’t forget Sedona AZ….stunningly beautiful.

  12. I was going through Idaho when you guys were. wish I could of met you guys. Had to take my great grandaughter back to Nebraska, now on my way back to Washington state.. love watching you guys.

  13. Great fun sharing your b-day with FOS! Happy Birthday Nathan. Your Idaho videos have been great. You are finding gems of various places.

  14. Happy Birthday Nate!! If you're ever up in Newfoundland, you can walk on the earth's magma in Gros Morne National Park

  15. Love you guys. Thanks for the family videos. We want to take grandkids next year. Can you share what month? And where uou stayed. We are 40 ft 5th wheel.

  16. For lava visit Valley of Fire Rec area near Carrizozo, NM.
About 90 mikes south if there is White Sands National Park
Then several hours west of there (almost into Arizona) is City of Rocks State park

  17. Happy Birthday Nathan! 🎉🎈🎂 What a nice beautiful place to visit and take the kids so they can learn and experience it and enjoy the journey. It’s good to see parents like you both doing this for their family. Great video! Everything was beautiful! Have a great birthday! 🎁 And great week!

  18. Indian Lake in the U.P. has a spring, kitch-iti-kipi, or Big Springs.
Great Adventure, thanks for bringing us along.
    And Happy Birthday 🥳
