Drone 4K aerial trip around beautiful Lake Nojiri on a clear late Autumn day. Nojiriko is situated in northern Nagano prefecture, just north of Shinanomachi town, and near the boundary with Niigata prefecture and the Myoko Kogen area.
It has beautiful clear waters, surrounded by forests and mountains, and the area becomes a spectacular blaze of Autumnal colours during the months of October and November.
Autumn activities include bass fishing, smelt fishing (wakasagi) on houseboats, stand up paddleboard (SUP), windsurfing, sailing, water sking, canoe-ing, and motor-boating. Walking or cycling around the lake is also a wonderful way to spend time outdoors at the time of year.
On Biwa island in the lake sits Uga Shrine with its waterside Torii gate, which can be accessed by ferry or small boat from Nojiri village.
