  1. British Museum was my favorite in London, but I know you don't care for museums. Many travel to see attractions and others travel just to be jumpin' around the world like Scooter. World is too much about money. I was watching Aussies travel in China today to be surprised that the costs are way up. I guess the world is becoming really expensive? I'm shocked and hurt by how much inflation we have in America the past 2 years. I'm broke already and it's only the 10th. It's crazy! No travel nor fun for me.

  2. I lived/worked in London for 12 years – now I live about 40 miles further away. Seeing your video reminds me why I think it is such an overrated place to visit. The cost, the experience – and even the things that you like – Cabs, Telephone boxes and double decker buses – they are like a 5 minute wonders. The rest is over-priced out of date garbage. It's also big and spread out – everything is tiring. Everything is grey and flat. So sorry you're having to experience this Gabriel!

  3. Wow! £19.50 for a brunch breakfast. Thank goodness I live in the North where the same meal costs £8 including a mug of tea. Always look out for tourist and office worker-free areas when looking for a full English breakfast café. Office workers eat foreign muck such as avocado for breakfast 😢

  4. Belfast has been getting a load of international tourists for the last 7 years and the establishments in the town centre are now chargining prices that are even more expensive than london.

  6. London Bridge was last rebuilt in 1968, the old one that had been standing since 1831 was sold to an American, dismantled & rebuilt in…Arizona.

  7. Never been on the Tube despite working in London many times in the mid 90's. However, I did walk many miles of the Jubilee Line Extension as I was working on it (walking along it lol) , predominently at the Millenium Dome (O2 Arena) site before the dome was even built but also at Canary Wharf amongst other areas. Not many people have only walked the tube, not ridden in it, is my guess 🤣
I've never been back since as I didn't like London at all, the parts I stopped at anyway. Probably my fault for picking the "cheap" areas.

  8. In CENTRAL LONDON to keep the cost down eat at places like the Pizza Hut in the Strand or any Weatherspoon branded pub as these places trend to give you large portions & charge a normal non tourist type price. Other districts in central London have many close together cafes, serving food at reasonable prices as they compete with each other for your custom, one has to route them out. Always sleep outside CENTRAL London in one of the surrounding towns that makes up GREATER London such as Tolworth etc. Don't breakfast at the hotel you sleep at, eat in one of the town's local cafes. Use the red buses or the tube to journey to LONDON city centre when you have satisfied your hunger with a filling meal.

  9. For cheap food, you can't beat a Wetherspoons pub. Wherever you are in central London, there will be one within 10 minutes walk. Nice breakfasts too.

  10. Random fact, the original London Bridge is currently in Lake Havasu City Arizona.

  11. Clink Street is also the location for the final alleyway scene in American Werewolf In London, the white doorway you looked at from Bills window can be seen when the cops start firing

  12. Many "blind" people commenting saying UK is a great place to live. Maybe It was in the past, not is going down day by day. Open your 👀

  13. Gabriel, whenever you see more than 20 trees and country lanes, you are not in London 😂 surely you know the history of the real London?

  14. If you get a debit card like Monzo or similar that you can use internationally without additional charges, do NOT bother with getting an Oyster card. It’s not necessary and it’s cheaper to just use a bank card. And in almost all shops you can use a card, rather than cash. I cannot remember the last time I used cash in London.

And if you want to eat a good breakfast, leave the London Bridge area first. Go somewhere with fewer (or no) tourists.

  15. Thanks to your persistent warnings regarding the currency conversion scam at ATMs, during our recent trip to Italy whenever we withdrew cash at an ATM, we thought about you! 🙂
    Thanks for the tip Gabe!

  16. My tip as a Brit – stay away from central London if you are on a budget! But I get if you are only passing through it makes more sense to be located there. Makes my heart cry spending that much money though 💰🤑 There are some amazing cities around the Uk – Cardiff where I am based, has loads of parks and nature spaces, but also has all the great city vibes. I came here 4 years ago during the pandemic and loved it so much I stayed.
Also A full English breakfast is usually served all day in any good pub – It’s the one thing we do well, why waste it for breakfast alone! 😂
