In this video, we will show you our secret beach in Maui. This beach has a secret swimming hole in Maui, Hawaii and we will take you on two awesome hikes in Maui, you can go with kids, in your sandals and can expect to spend no more than 2-3 hours on each hike. The views on the hike are amazing and one of the hikes has a secret swimming hole, which you will definitely need on a hot day.
La Perouse Bay is located near Kihei in Maui, you can snorkel before you start your hike or you can take your snorkel gear with you on the hike, and on a calm day, you will have some awesome snorkeling. This hike is also the one that offers you a secret swimming hole, it’s near the end of the hike and you have to go slightly off the trail and down a small cliff to get to the swimming hole.
The Ohai Trail is a really great hike and the views are amazing. The trail takes you along a cliff with jagged rocks and huge waves below. The agriculture is much different than other parts of Maui, it’s dryer and has some cactuses. This isn’t talked about it many travel guides and few people go there, after being to Maui 10 times and just finding out about this place, I can tell you this should be a top priority.
