Today it’s some good old fashioned play along Geoguessr, except this time each location is the site of a Guinness world record. It could be the biggest, smallest or oldest of something or it could be the exact spot that someone consumed the most hobnobs. I don’t really know what we’re going to get, so let’s find out!
PLAY ALONG: Play your round, put your marker down, then switch tabs back to Youtube to watch my attempt and the result. This way you don’t ruin the game or the video!

Did you beat my score? let me know how you did in the comments!

Guys of course I have heard of Angkor Wat!
I’m also aware that there are many temples in Cambodia, Thailand, India etc some of which look very similar so I chose not to rush in.
Drop the video a like if you enjoyed and let me know how you fared in the comments. I like to read through!
With all due respect, the way you didn't even recognise Angkor Wat at all from the start, it was miraculous how quickly you were able to zoom into its exact location and recall its name.
Also, speaking of Hinduism spreading east – read up about Bali 🙂
Tom: Identifies roadside bushes as typical of eastern Slovenia
Also Tom: Looks right at Angkor Wat and thinks 'India"
Also Tom: Winds up getting it exactly right anyway
I recognized the Arizona plates and knew you'd have your mind blown. I watched Jake Lyons play GeoGuessr and a very similar thing happened; it was way up in the pine trees of the Arizona mountains and he guessed Idaho or Washington or somewhere much farther north.
Please do more Geoguessr duels videos, they were so good!
I think the only thing you got "cataclysmically wrong" (as you called it) was not recognising Angkor Wat the very first second you saw it. But it's okay, I'm not from Cambodia, so I forgive you. XD
LOL at the Voldemort comment!
I did enjoy this! There is a good mix of familiar locations that I somewhat know the name and location of, and others that I've never seen before. I really like Geoguessr videos that show locations where something of wikipedia-level-importance happened
some great work on this one
I do think that's a person, but I suffer from hyperanthropareidolia, so I think everything's a person.
The desert southwest has a number of factors going for it that combine to make it as close to perfect for a location to build an observatory as you’ll find anywhere on Earth. Also that was an Arizona plate not Idaho.
I was like “oh no, you don’t recognize Angkor Wat” and then you still got it.
Why is the "STATUE OF UNITY" of one man standing alone?
Usually, Korean women wear sun visors. I live in Japan, and Japanese women do not wear sun visors.
The way I shouted Angor Wat at my screen in the first round
MORE please 🙂
"Roundest bush"
i highly recommend looking at some better images of the statue of unity. it's so big it really messes with your mind 😀
So nice of Tom to say thanks to Rainbolt at 24:51
I am indian, living in Arizona. So I got both the guesses that Tom got wrong and I was lmao in the Indian one.😂😂
I think the University of Parma one might possibly be where they created the world's biggest Parma Ham?
Guess the world record.
Tom: "Biggest …"
Like this format 👍
So first one I get instantly as it’s literally on the flag of Cambodia, and the largest religious site in the world.
I immediately recognised 2 of these- Angkor wat and the statue of unity.
Sometimes I think he just plays dumb to stretch the vids a bit. Also saying that the guy is police even though he is obviously a tour guide 😀
Didn't think i'd get a thunderbirds reference here, this is good
at 14:50 that was my university, spent 3 years there and i was like wtf i know this building. didint even know it had a record
Malaysians wear those hats too
For the last one, my hometown is just 50 kms from State of Unity. Yes, it is the tallest statue in the world. The statue is of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel who was the first deputy prime minister and home minister of independent India.
After independence, there were 562 princely states and he united all of them to build the Republic of India. That is why it is named as Statue of Unity.
Big fan tom! Keep doing great work👏🏻
Tom: Looks for the flag of cambodia on a man's person when the building featured on it is literally in front of him
"I'm just looking for a flag or something" *pans to crotch …..ahahahh
Letting you know in the comments about the "Japanese women" just like you asked. You are definitely right or wrong
The newest rollercoaster guinnes world record…wow😂
I ruined my perfect score run on round 3 <_< 13k baby!
Funny video but I personally didnt enjoy this format, world records are boring and always outdated
Gonna join Russ Cook in Africa for a spell? That would be epic!!
Literally Angkor Wat
Tom: Are we in India?
7:14 Missed opportunity to say "Is that the Idaho plate? Idunno. Idunno Idaho."
Most people within a few seconds: Angkor Wat, Cambodia!
Geowizard after 5 minutes: Boom! A great start!
wow this was wild to see the Parma bridge and be like "hey wait isn't it the bridge I used to take when getting to work? no way"
it is a surreal feeling
Good attempts tho!
You did actually really well
Those were clearly Arizona plates on those vehicles.
beat ya at 21.9k!
Surprised that you didn't immediately recognize Angkor Vat😅
You got me shouting at my screen for 5 minutes
