I love how temperature regulating wool clothing is. I’d like to try the long sleeve shirts from Unbound Merino as a base layer under my wool dresses.

T shirts sound as a great idea as they are easy to clean and have temperature control depending on weather conditions, I will consider them for my Japan trip coming soon

About 10 months ago, I started wearing merino wool sport bras after learning that women are being exposed to high levels of toxic chemicals that are found in sports bras and other moisture wicking athletic-wear. I thought I was going to be boiling hot in the merino wool but found that they were really comfortable in winter and summer months here in Iowa. I would be very interested in trying clothing from the Unbound merino wool clothing line. I love the idea of its versatility in using it year-round by itself in the summer and layering it in the winter.

On my recent trip to Malaysia and Indonesia, I packed four 100% merino wool long sleeve shirts. Wearing them, I feel secure with the extra sun protection. When outside all day in the hot weather, I wear a 175gsm shirt and matching leggings (if I can find 175gsm pants I will wear it to stay cool in hot weather!). When I’m outside for shorter duration or late afternoon into evenings, I wear one of my three 200gsm shirts and cotton pants. I haven’t yet invested in merino wool pants, but I will after this trip. My shirts would smell of sweat after each use, but the smell goes away after I hang them to dry indoors on clothes hangers (I read that moths will eat the fibres, so I avoid drying them outside). I only wash my shirts once a week when I have access to laundry.
I also read that merino wool is okay to use as swim suit. So, I have also used my 100% 175gsm merino wool camisole and briefs for swimming and snorkelling.
I love that you can wear wool more than once and how quickly it dries. Wool wash day is the easiest wash day for us!

Curious about merino clothing because I’m so tired of repurchasing the same staples multiple times each year. Funny enough, my tastes haven’t changed but clothing quality sure has. So between that and planning to travel more streamlined for my Spring trip to Japan, I’m ready to invest in the best.
I've really wanted to try the travel hoodie. I have a couple merino t-shirts that I love for their comfort and low maintenance.
I am preparing for a trip to Japan and Costa Rica. Finally looking at some me time. I like the functionality of the clothing and think they would be multipurpose for all types of conditions. Being able to line dry clothing would work very well in both trips.

I first heard about Unbound Merino from Evan Hadfield and his channel "Rare Earth" as he was mates with the founder (this was just before the namesake of the beer became "popular"). As our trips to Bologna and Japan were cancelled for that year, it didn't seem prudent to invest in travel clothing, but the whole idea of the properties of merino wool were quite appealing. Now we are setting our itinerary for an April 2024 trip to Japan and plan to have at least a couple items each from Unbound Merino, because of your enthusiastic endorsement. Wonderful Videos. I have a couple of time-sensitive questions about JR Pass.Most of the travel agencies from official JR railways no longer accept purchase orders due to system upgrade.
