  1. Hello I'm an indian railfan and i saw this video and look when it was when it was uploaded I live in banglore so it would have been really cool to meet you it's fine u don't have to say sorry

  2. Kindly do not critisize India if you don't like our railways do not travel in trains don't say it is a stupid system if you can sujjest a better system you send your sujestion to Indian railways suppose you are made incharge of the whole railways can you manage better than this railway is a very vast worlds second in the railway net work it is not an easy thing to manage such big net with some lakhs of employees and other allied systems it is very easy to critisize some already existing system in indian railway there are highly qualified and highly experienced people are there it is not a joke to provide aminities to the whole railway people like you with small brains critisize this is a stupid system indian railways is one of best managed railway in the world you have not seen the world you very immatured

  3. I've done four trips between Dehli and Ranthambore in a 1st class carriage, absolutely fantastic experience. 'Chai chai coffee coffee chai chai' will stick with me along with 'chips for free'. Dehli, you smell it before you see it! It has to be one on everyone's bucket list👍

  4. Whenever you judge a comparison between Indian railways with any other, just keep in mind that we are 1.4 bn. And took modern freedom just 76 years ago.

  5. Hi
    Great video.
I'm travelling to India to travel next Feb. How did you get on with the Indian railways online service? I heard that you need an Indian credit card and / or Indian mobile phone number to book tickets this way? Please can you confirm.
    Thank you

  6. I spent over a dozen years in India, I travelled all over India by train, often second class & no AC,which in summer could be quite exhausting. Air con I later travelled more with wife & young children, so much easier. However I/we would take our own food & omelets could be brought by the coach attendants, whom you tip for the trouble. Travelling Ac is excuse the pun, is a breeze lol.
This was some thirty years ago butthe accommodation hasn't changed much.
The other benifit of a shared compartment is that Indians being friendly & good natured people would also look out for your welfare & show a concern that you wouldn't get in the west. I loved India but it seems to have become quite modern, a lot of new stations & lines, still crowded lol, noisy, but a wonderful country & fantastic people.

  7. you a dirty person, saying Bharat system as stupid and shameless but can you imagine such long travel any where in so called advance Europe in such low fare i. e. $66 only. i seen many time that you western people always try to make Indian low and never have any obligation.

  8. If lot more sceneries was shown, it would be nice. 3 day journey in 30 min. video was short in my opinion.

  9. Indian trians are Lifeline of India and they are doing it in a affordable coast is the appreciatable part of railways

  10. You have bad taste in food Pal. A bag of junk food t the start when so much good food is available. Hope you got Bombay belly. Then you order pizza on your journey. Up yours you dork. You came all the way to India to order pizza. You're a jerk and you make awful travel videos,Stay home and eat pizza and don't waste peoples tie on your jnk, Thumbs down Ahole.

  11. I did many trips in India by train and it was an experience every single time! India incredible India !

  12. You should mention/show how filthy the cabin is with congealed food on the table hinges and under the table. Obviously been there for decades.

  13. I went to India on several occasions going from NewDelhi to Dehradun, a relatively short distance by comparison to your journey! They certainly have some long trains over there – I didn’t see a report on how long this train was, how many coaches, must be 40 plus, surely . . . Indian Railway certainly is pretty well organised I think. Great video!

  14. I was on a regular train, for more than a day….and it was no big deal….albeit I have a rather extensive hiking and camping experience…

  15. Very interesting, but you couldn’t pay me enough money to visit India. Chief reason is the danger to women where the accounts of endless rapes and murders of women figure prominently. My western country even put out an advisory warning that women do not travel alone to India as it is not safe. Also, the fact that the place is very hot and appears extremely dirty is not very encouraging either. I’d be very concerned about eating any food or drinking any liquids.
No, India is definitely not on any bucket list of mine.

  16. In 1978 I took a train from Bombay (then) to Kalpi, getting a last minute ticket on presenting my student card. In India, students are respected. I remember sleeping on the floor between all the people sitting on the seats either side. Then on a trip from Kalpi to Delhi, I rested in the luggage rack above the seats. All standard class.

  17. Indian trains primarily run on electricity or diesel. Currently, around two-third of freight and more than half of passenger traffic in Indian Railways are ferried by electric traction. The figures imply that close to 90 per cent of the Broad Gauge network has been electrified. The network, in turn, constitutes 95 per cent of the entire railway network.
