My dear people, today, I’m going to get inside the Soviet easternmost top-secret nuclear military base. It was a secret to everyone, and in complete secrecy, tens of thousands troops and loads of heavy machinery and equipment had been moved here to build and man silos for ballistic missiles with nuclear warheads. Unofficially, this project was dubbed “the invasion army.”
Back in the days of the Soviet Union, this used to be one of the areas of extreme tension on the political map. Why? Because only 50 miles separate this coast and the American soil. That’s the reason the Soviets invested crazy loads of money and stuff into this place, and moved here lots of manpower. They built here all the infrastructure and moved here entire garrisons, or rather entire military bases.
This is Lyadov reporting today from a former top-secret restricted-access military settlement located very close to the border separating Russia and the United States.

    America spits in putin and russia face everyday . russia soldiers are dying by america weapons… America isnt scared … But putin is. If shoe was on other foot and american soldiers was dying by russian weapons america would defentily attack. Jus like syria in 2018.     This man who because his father was a writer thinks he is the absolute authority on all things Chukchi is an absolute idiot because the natives could very easily have been recruited to observe what could be seen by eye of Russian military activity in the area, there is no 'vetting' thousands of native born and raised Yupik who all had their own free will to privately do what they wished. After all the primary motivation for indigenous assets who have no particular loyalty to either side is financial compensation, and the fact is the primary task and responsibility for every man regardless of nationality is the same one thing.
    To provide sustenance and quality of life for his family. Period. And if the arduos constant stressful grind of labor intensive tasks of successfully hunting the sparse tundra game and fish and other sea life in the ice cold ocean could be eased by earning actual money to spend or valuable goods then realisticly I don't see what would have stopped some enterprising ambitious Eskimo from accepting the work.

    My only problem with this channel is the obvious very little actual footage of what the subject matter is. Lots of glances and testimony. The paranoia of the state is incredible.

    The US and Russia do not share a border. There's 55 miles of frigid Bering Strait water that separates Russia from the nearly 700,000 sq miles of Alaska (1.7 million sq km), then there's the vast expanse of Canada to cross before reaching the northern border of the continental US (lower 48 states). If we're talking about an invasion, the lower 48 would be the objective and after all of Alaska and a less than pro-Russia, Canada… good luck with that.
