The contemplative surroundings of Koyasan [UNESCO World Heritage] Japan (PART II)

Mabuhay!
This is the Second Part of our Travel in the snowy place and contemplative surroundings of THE UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE… “KOYASAN”

When you are driving your car starting to a point of DRY AREA, You will never realize what’s waiting for you in KOYASAN.
In this episode, Visitors must be aware that temperatures in elevated mountainous area of Koyasan are significantly cooler.

Koyasan is most conveniently accessed by Nankai Railways, Reachable by slow, countryside trains…
The journey of transferring from local train to riding cable car is an amazing experience
IF YOU LOOK AT D WINDOW there’s absolutely beautiful surroundings. and to sum up everything, the destination is well worth the effort.

Usually, in our journey, CABLE CAR is a must.
Shooting the rail with snow, green and brown trees outside plus the PULLEY is a jampack in the eyes of traveler while climbing.
These are what we called aesthetic piece of engineering machines with a lot of moving parts… And JAPAN is very famous on that.
Even the kids will enjoy the ride.
Considering cable rides in our journey, our clips are more on cinematic style.
Capturing these machines in action is part of our style.

Among the most popular tourist attractions in KOYASAN are many fine historic buildings.
So… We walked along a very good Japanese Architectural Shrines and Traditional Houses.
Its a good feeling as if you are doing ice walking tour with Plenty of snow.

It is difficult to grasp the vast scale of Koyasan because Aside from spiritual atmosphere,
If you walk early morning or late afternoon,
Kids can still enjoy the SNOW.
Its like for them, it is one of the most incredible site.
Our daughter even enjoy doing SNOW ANGEL in a virgin snow.
You have to See it for yourself.

Part 1 of our video

Koyasan has been designated UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2004, together with (Sacred Sites and Pilgrimage Routes in the Kii Mountain Range). This wouldn’t be complete if there’s no authentic place like OMIYAGE SHOP.
We bought KAKI LEAVES TEA, Ampogaki (dried khaki fruit), KONYAKKU and chilli powder (TAKANOTSUME).
Feel the traditional nostalgia of KOYASAN!

Lastly, Thank you for the warm messages.
We’re touched beyond words. You made our day!
A Bientot! From Japan with Love.
