2018-04-13—The “Wanderfuls” arrive in Kyoto as part of their Kyoto-Nara-Kobe day tour. They are here primarily for the famous bamboo forests of Kyoto. But there is nothing in their tour package that says they cannot try out the many delectable street food that line the streets and alleys on their way to and from the bamboo forest. They only have approximately one hour, however, to try and enjoy as many of the very tempting gastronomical treats of Kyoto. And they want to try all of them!

The main street leading to the bamboo forest is lined with cute and picture perfect stores. If not for their very tight tour schedule, the wanderfuls are sure to be stopping by to check each one of them.

Aside from its bamboo forests, eye-candy stores, and gourmet street food, Kyoto is also the place to go to, to see a glimpse of old Japan. Girls wearing traditional and colorful kimonos are all over the place. Rickshaws carrying tourists ply the streets.

Enjoy watching.
