  1. A lot of people curious about my GTI: It's a 2022 Mk8 Autobahn Launch Edition where VW only made 700 of them in that color (Pomelo) and configuration, comes w/ a numbered plaque and letter from the President of VW of America. It's also a manual transmission, which as you know is getting phased out worldwide in many cars. During the pandemic I traded my previous 2013 GTI Autobahn with only 50K miles on it because dealers were offering so much $$$. This new 2022 Mk8 model is nice cuz it's got adaptive chassis control and sport suspension, electronic slip differential, larger infotainment display, lane assist, etc… etc… Definitely a nice upgrade from the 2013 model!

  2. For a moment there, I thought you guys went to Bend and didn't visit Deschutes… phew! Another great vid, by the way.

  3. Long comment on the video, some feedback, and random stuff:

Really good job with the camera work on this. Crater Lake looked fantastic and the wide shots also did well to show off the game stores. Also liked some of the flavor shots like the wheels outside the car rolling and a few extra touches spiced it up. I always think of Forza when I see you driving in your videos and I'm just like "dang, real life has realistic graphics." lol.

One thing I enjoyed in this video as well was the somewhat slower shots glancing over the games on the shelves. I had asked for that in previous video comments and I think you struck a good balance in this video. I like to read and catch a few titles on the shelf just to get a sense of what the store has. That little shop had some great titles for its small collection. I would love to do more traveling but alas it's not in the cards at this stage of my life. I really like these travel videos like I said before. They are my next favorite after pickups with Reggie. I also like the compilation videos you are putting out from the PC Marathon to the Generation collection and all those videos wrapped into one big one. Hopefully they will pull more views over time and more people will find them. It's pretty cool to see what you have accomplished on YouTube with hard work, dedication, coming up with ideas, and bringing the MJR crew together. The MJR Crew is very special and the fact you guys get together and so many of you guys stay in touch and do videos and play games still is amazing. Never take that for granted! I have moved so many times in my life from a kid into my 30s now. The last several years had me move several times from the lockdown situation to starting a new job and moving to 3 states back to back. So essentially it's been difficult to make a consistent group of friends I can hang out with in real life but now I'm back near my home town and slowly building a group of friends to play games with again. I went to my first expo this year in Milwaukee at the Midwest Gaming Classic a few months ago. Your videos inspired me and I had an absolute blast at it. There was so much to see and do. I had always wanted to go to e3 or a video game expo since I was a kid but just never did for whatever reason. With the last few years seeing e3 shut down along with the disappearance of physical media I really want to go to as many expos as I can to support the scene and have a good excuse to spend a weekend playing games with my friends. Anyways thanks again Jason!

  4. I like the idea of road trips…but go cross country…that would be cool.
Showing people America and game hunting at flea markets and swap meets and stuff and food too.Watching you on trips is good stuff MJ.

  5. When he suddenly mentioned a store called Game Quest, I thought it was the one that I used to see back in the 90s. In my opinion, that store was WAY BETTER than Gamestop!

  6. Man, I wanna go so bad but from East Canada to West USA in my car is like ~4000$ worth of gas. And flying means renting a car so it adds up anyway plus the airport would probably destroy any merch

  7. Blockbuster……or any video rental store…….u never realize what u have til u lose it. That was a friday night n saturday nite ritual

  8. BIG problem with the CLZ app is it’s pricing is based off eBay sales…. Then when you look at the sales data they’re using they often use inauthentic sales, list “loose” sales as CIB, or even list the price of the item sold incorrectly…. You CAN report each individual sale but it’s I use, pricing on their is just all over the place sadly

  9. Wow they have medevial madness and attack on mars . I can’t even dream I’d be so lucky to play those games .

  10. awesome video! more stuff like this! you are great at making entertaining videos

  11. 8:08 hey man! Blast from the past with the blockbuster, also great sound mixing! Where you, MJR, are standing on the left, the sound is coming from the left! Likewise with your friend on the right! Thanks for uploading this part for me, I requested it on part 1. Crater Lake looks beautiful! Me, being from California, i think that you are really doing a great job highlighting some of Oregon's nicest spots. A little off topic, but did you happen to work at Sierra? I think I saw a video of yours where you mentioned it during a Gabriel Knight: Sins of the Father retrospective.
