Welcome to a NEW Japan Vlog Series! Part 3! In this vlog, we go on a tour of Tokyo, starting with the famous Tsukiji fish market, where I had some amazing Wagyu beef! Then we headed to the Tokyo Skytree, which is the world’s tallest tower at 634 metres. We then visited Nakamise Street – known as one of Tokyo’s most famous shopping streets, where we tried loads of fun Japanese snacks, before heading to the Sensoji Temple – the oldest temple in Tokyo.
In the evening, my cousin and I went to explore Shinjuku and had dinner at one of my favourite restaurants, CoCo Curry House ICHIBANYA.
We headed back to our hotel at around 11pm after a full day of touring around Tokyo, Japan!

The wagyu looked so tender, I barely saw you chewing it. It is as if it melted in your mouth like cotton candy.
I love it that you got to go to Japan. Japan is A LOT but in a good way. I know Pokemon is not in your wheelhouse of expertise, but I just have to throw in, at 13:13 the first plush backpack that looks like a confused Pikachu is not a Pikachu. It’s a ghost Pokemon called Mimikyu, and it covers itself in a Pikachu costume.
Granted, I don’t blame you for not knowing. There are a lot of Pokemon now that are Pikachu look-alikes, and there are also now a total of over 1,000 Pokemon in that universe. It’s hard for anyone not seriously invested in the universe to keep track.
In any case, I’m glad you’ve enjoyed Japan so far!

I felt the way you felt at the temple when I went to the cathedral in Reykjavík. Moved me completely and found myself praying though I hadn't done in many years.
