SPACIA X, a new-model limited express train linking Tokyo’s Asakusa district
with the Nikko/Kinugawa area, has just commenced service on July 15, 2023.
This is the highest class of seating in Spacia X. Passengers can savor an interlude of travel in luxury while enjoying the panoramic view from the windows to the front and on the sides. The compartments have an area of 11 square meters, the largest on any limited express operated by a private railway. With their expansive size, they can be used by up to seven passengers. The lounge was inspired by the cockpit of a private jet, and its underlying idea was a “moving suite room.”
