  2. After watching your video, I realized that Japan, where I live, is full of greenery.😊

  3. Japan is so amazing. (Ps. The bolts you have on your spare are called Torx or security torx (with the hole). An Allen key has a hexagonal tip where Torx is more like a star).

  4. number one funny,,two beautifull….three educational….four…..aaaa hell I dont know but I loved it…great vlog thanks

  5. Congratulations on visiting Japan during what is possibly the hottest summer I've ever experienced in my 30 plus years here. Believe me, temperatures of 39 degrees are not usual!
BTW and FYI, the correct way to pronounce those fancy car parks you've been staying in is not 'Mishi no eki'. They are 'Michi no eki' which should be said as 'Mee-chee no eki'. The chicken DIY shops are a big chain called Komeri. You went to a Komeri 'Powaa' which is much bigger than a standard Komeri. Checking out their website and finding the nearest Komeri might be helpful. They sell all kinds of stuff, not much in the way of car parts though.

  6. Pademide sizi tanıdım çoooksevdim abonenizim JAPONYA güzel ama soğuk ülke okadar gezdiniz sokakta hiç çocuk yok samimiyet yok çocuk sesi olmadan sokakmı olur tuhaf😒

  7. Another fabulous video. Got such a kick out of the enthusiasm for Trudy at the ice cream shop. Looking forward to the next video. β€πŸ™πŸ‘πŸ˜Š

  8. China has laws that allow foreigners to be detained without cause. We support you, but we are also worried.

  9. Marianne seems awfully quiet for the last while. I hope you are alright, maybe you are tired from the heat and driving in the heat. Stay well you 2, love your channel ❀️

  10. The road sign that you pointed to at minute 25:22 said "No Parking. This road is for the use of agricultural vehicles. The passage and parking of regular vehicles is prohibited." Blame Goggle — it told you to take it!

  11. The special tool is just a torx security bit. 😜

I recently got some tea and coffee with gold in it from my friend from Kanazawa

  12. Great trip, videos are much improved over a year ago, thank you. Sound not good at all Marianne can hardly be heard or understood at times.
Spend a few coins and improve your videos please πŸ™πŸ»πŸ˜Š

  13. In temperatures that high, thing to do is keep windows closed, because you are letting hot air into your van and if you can bring the window blinds down..I know this sounds crazy and completely opposite of thinking, but it will stop sun and heat ..when driving open everything it cools faster…do this when you are leaving the van during the day on your outings.

  14. You can bet that if you do get your Chinese VISA, you will be followed and monitored your entire trip through the country.

  15. Marianne is a good driver and deserves recognition for that. The 'chicken shop' is called Komeri. Whilst a DIY shop or 'home centre' (if you ask someone, you can say 'ho-mu senta-') as they are called here in Japan, one of their main target customer bases are farmers. Cainz Home on the other hand typically targets people who want to buy things on a budget, but they also target more of the building trade and have a separate materials warehouse next to or attached to the main consumer part.

  16. I also don't have hair to protect my head, so I understand your situation.πŸ˜…

  17. Hi. Thank you for sharing this fantastic video, I am really enjoying. Regarding finding a restaurant in Japan, I think searching any "restaurant" around you in the Google map may be helpful. The results show you some information like its place, reviews, what kind of foods they are serving.

  18. You are both amazing….We love your cheerful way you get through all the obstacles you encounter. We have such trouble hearing Marianne talk while you are driving… is there any way to put a microphone closer to her?? Your journey is truly epic and we don't want to miss anything. Cheers guys😊

  19. Love how ma-HOO-sive Trudy looks in Japan carparks and down the Google Maps booby traps! πŸ˜‚ As always, Marianne you are an absolute champion at the wheel. The tunnel had me clenching my bum! 😱🀣

What a reception at the ice cream shop! Mimi and i love matcha!! The ice cream must have a lovely blend of bitter and sweet. 🀀

    β€οΈβ€οΈπŸ˜ŽπŸ‘xx

  20. Awesome video as always Chris and Marianne. Japan is so amazingly beautiful and peaceful and has such nice and friendly people.

  21. Hi. In Jamaica there are lots of bamboo. The locals make bamboo rafts and they use them for tourists down Martha brae river. We went on it. It was amazing. They build a seat on there with the bamboo they so amazing at what they can do with the bamboo there. Brilliant

  22. Great video, I really enjoy the videos where you interact with the local people!

  23. wd40 is a good example of persisting through failure. There were 39 other formulas that the inventor went through when he invented wd 40 till he got to the final one.
