I Was Soaking Wet After This Night Walk | JAPAN WALKING TOURS



I took a nice little walk on this rainy and windy evening around my local neighborhood near Kita-Matsudo Station, just outside of Tokyo. I apologize in advance for any loud sounds from cars, the rain, or my struggle to fight against the wind. hehehe When I got home, my pants and jacket were totally wet from all the rain blowing around from every direction.
I’ve been meaning to film more night videos and I’m glad that this sort of low-light test turned out pretty decent. I’ll try to film a lot of night videos when I have the chance to. I generally work until 10pm on weekdays, so my opportunities to film at night are low, especially if it requires traveling into Tokyo at night.

High-Quality mode
Color profile: D-Cinelike
I didn’t really care to spend a ton of time fixing the noise with ISO 1600 in some parts. The experience was fine to watch so I didn’t fiddle with that at all. Only some minor color correction (vibrance/saturation) was added, plus a little sharpness.

    Umbrella tech must advance! I could totally feel the pain, haha. I appreciate the sacrifice. Still, it's pretty cool and atmospheric during the nights. I only hate the windy rain when one is constantly wrestling with the umbrella and still getting wet, like you did. Note to self: invest on a sturdy quality umbrella before the rainy season…
