  1. Well what a day that was – Have you had any strange or bizarre experiences – we'd love to hear them – hope you enjoyed the video – thanks for watching – Chris & Marianne xx

  2. Hi Chris and Marianne, we love watching you both on your Global Adventures and we pray that God will keep you safe on your travels and meet your every needs, whether that be when Trudie needs help or Chris needs respite from sleeping in the van when you are suffering from a bad back or free meals and drinks etc even a can of wd40 just when you needed it ! We are constantly amazed of how the Lord intervenes on your behalf, Abundant Blessings, Martin and Christine xx

  3. Awesome video as always Chris and Marianne. God works in mysterious ways. He's always watching over you weather you know or not.

  4. That was to much of a coincidence with the WD40, absolutely amazing, safe journey guys, just love your videos.

  5. That was the strangest thing to happen. Right after the wish . It just fell right out. Like someone threw it. Please do not go to China. Maybe that was a sign not to go there..๐Ÿ˜ฎ๐Ÿ˜ฎโคโค

  6. u didn't but if ask me despite the current station even going through Russia will be better option then china… I think u should forget about china I don't think it is the best option

  7. Do NOT go to China. It is not worth the risk. You will be under surveillance the entire trip and the Chinese police can arrest you for any reason they feel like. Remember, China is not a democracy. They have also just had two devastating floods that have wrecked the infrastructure in key places. Anything the Chinese travel agency is telling you is probably incorrect. Rules regularly change in China on a whim. Something they tell you is okay might not be okay the next day. And then youโ€™re in trouble. Traveling with Trudy through China is a recipe for very serious trouble that you will not be able to get out of.

  8. Hey guys. Sorry you've been dealt some curveballs! If you do go to China, post your hard disks home first. I've seen so many Youtubers have theirs confiscated even after gaining permission. The authorities are most likely going to want to audit everything you upload (if you are even allowed to!). Please be safe. Your unfolding story is inspirational and heart warming.

  9. If I win the lottery before you finish the journey, I will sponsor total renovation of Trudy :p

  10. Ya know… I would be wd-40 every hinge, lock and runner on your van. I do it in my motorhome often. I do try to use a spray lube that is not oil based as not to attract dust.

  11. Fantastic video as usual guysโ€™ my strange experience was on the 6/6/1985 a ghost appeared to me in a hospital in Glasgow she spoke to me and told me Iโ€™d be back this time next year she said and sure as god I was back in the same ward one year later I can remember every word she said she was dressed as a nurse from over one hundred years previously I donโ€™t think I will ever forget that โ€˜ true story thank you Marianne and Chris

  12. It appears that there was divine intervention playing a hand in your favor. Definitely do not believe in coincidences. Keep up the faith and may His mercies guide you on your journey and may the travels forward be an open road full of new discoveries. Wishing you the best always. ๐Ÿฅฐ

  13. Hello Ambassadors
Watching this episode was really fun. You both are hilarious, lovely and great people ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚I think 300 yen did the job. Prayer is a prayer no matter what, don't you think?
    WD 40 the life saver!
Akido part of the video was amazing. The guys was born 1883 the the spot was still there and protected. I loved that history. Thank you Guys!
The mountain road was REALLY, REALLY NARROW. AS I HAVE SAID THIS BEFORE, Marianne you are the onen when it comes to driving skills ๐Ÿ˜ข๐Ÿ˜ข this is how I would look like!
    Love from Florida ๐Ÿ‡น๐Ÿ‡ท๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿฅฐ

  14. Is it an option to ship Trudy to wait for you and you rent a different vehicle for China? Would that invalidate your goals? I would send those hard drives somewhere else to wait for you too. China is not uniform, one place can be very different from another, one official different from another, the rules can be serious, generally there is less politeness, and less willingness to help. I went three times and two were good. Once an old man was beaten nearly to death in front of me by a policeman for a very minor offense in public, in broad daylight with tourists everywhere. I would say visit, drive, whatever, but do it in something more reliable, more low key, and less in your face. Glad everything worked out for you in this video!

  15. Being a carpenter Im fascinated w Japanese houses and wood joinery that dont use any nails to hold house beams together so well, even earthquakes dont break those. ๐Ÿ˜Š

  16. Would be good idea to have a tire repair kit or even two spare tires,,travel around the world things will go wrong, guaranteed

  17. It could be worse, hope it is not, keep plodding on and bringing such wonderful entertainment!
by the way I am sure it is more than 5 years since you retired

  18. Looks like you have ensouled Trudy ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ. She is an official member of the family. Take care and Best Wishes for your continuing travels. We will watch whatever you are sharing. Love it all. โค๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ‘๐ŸŒฟโš˜๏ธ๐ŸŒฟ

  19. Why in the world would you want to visit a country (China) with so many unnecessary restrictions?
Do you enjoy having someone else dictate your travels?
And why would you risk life and limb in a deeply Communist country?

  20. i did Japan and China trips in 2016 through a tour group – did actually see Meiji shrine but this is a very good video
enjoyed China immensely – Beijing, Xian, Chengdu and Shanghai
probably too big a country to cover by Trudy

  21. Just watched the current re China transit. Don't be foolish, the government is not your friend. The risk vs reward is not worth it. Very pleased your video's are much improved. Sound system only fair. Best of luck on your travels.

  22. I really enjoy watching your videos. The two of you are just incredible.
Having lived in Asia and having friends who lived in China I can only second the advice of not going through China. Not only will they confiscate your hard drives but go through literally everything you own. YouTube, Google, Gmail, WhatsApp etc will not work and neither will a VPN. You will be forced to go use Chinese apps and they are censored. China might be fascinating but itโ€™s not worth the risk.
One more tip, if Google Maps gives you trouble you might want to look into downloading Waze. It did not lead us through these tiny little streets and thereโ€™ve never been any weird shortcuts that Google Maps loves to suggest in Japan.
Have a safe onward journey! Iโ€™m looking forward to all your new adventures ๐Ÿ™‚

  24. WHAT an episode!!!! mysterious forces at work there!!! Sorry you didn't get down to the base of the waterfall, that's spectacular too. But very happy to see all the temples/shrines at the top of the hill. An amazing place! And I can see the heat is starting to be a thing for you…and knowing that Japan was about to enter the hottest, craziest summer! Loving it all. (Autobacs young staff who just pointed at the machine in classic "gaijin avoidance" mode, needs a clip round the ear for bad service!!)
