  2. Damn…didn't even know that OK existed, ended up doing all my grocery shopping at Seyu.

  3. I didn't visit Asakusa when I was in Tokyo weeks ago, because Asakusa is pretty touristic. However, this supermarket sounds great to stock up drinks and snacks before leaving for a day trip out of Tokyo. Thank you for this video.

  4. I love your pronounciation of "year" 🙂 Practice saying "yen" and it should be pretty easy to say "year."

  5. Very informative.I will travel solo to Japan in Oct.I don't know what to expect 😅 but your channel is great and helpful. 👍👍 🇦🇺🇦🇺

  6. some of these packages can be found in Los Angeles in japanese markets, but with a massive 3x-4x mark up! Onigiri cost 5x more in the US!

  7. This video came at such a great time! 😆 I’m about to visit this area soon hahaha, thanks for the food tips!

  8. I love learning about the better value, local spots even in busy areas like Asakusa.
Thank you for taking the time to cover these topics and places!

  9. Thank you! I appreciate you sharing what's offered in local supermarket! Do you know if there's microwave at the store to heat up some of the food?

  10. During my trip to Japan, I want to buy and eat a lot of delicious food at the supermarket in Tokyo 🤤🤤

  11. I'll definitely give it a try when I visit Japan at the end of this year.

I am almost jealous about the amount of different convenience foods at super affordable prices. In my country you couldn't buy the "Katsu" by itself for that price, let alone in that quality.

Also great that you guys show also show the more local options for tourists 👍.

  12. Another great video, thanks. Have you given thought to doing a vegetarian / vegan video?

  13. Markets are better than conbini, but convenience has a price. Liked the market. Food looks very good. Thank you enjoyed.

  14. 2:54 WHOA 😳 those are even cheaper than at Haneda/Narita airport. Wow! I am STILL planning my Tokyo Holiday, which starts estimated 19th of October, this year. I didn't even knew OK Asakusa existed when I was last time in Tokyo, granted, it was in 2018 or so, it was not open yet then.

THANK YOU THANK YOU 🙏 for these tips! You are a great help for my October Planning.

  15. Thank you so so much for the detailed video! This is so great for international travellers or those are new to japan
