  1. I note that eggs are roughly US$1 for 10 eggs.
I'm in Perth, western Australia and buy free range eggs
(Rated as only 400 hens per hectare)
    from Nannup and pay about
    US $10
for 12 eggs. Arguably, they're amongst the highest quality eggs available in Perth.
    However,
That's about 10 times more than this supermarket in Moscow !!!

  2. 7:53 Heinz ketchup, if that's the 342 size, same price as in Spain , more or less 2.50 euros. the ruble and euro are almost at par numerically 102 rubles v 1 euro today. I thought it would be much more expensive in Russia seeing sanctions and the falling ruble.

  3. Their milk is way cheaper in Russia than here locally that's for sure, i assume that is Fresh, not UHT or whatever, the UHT here is even more expensive than that,. I hope Europeans watch this and see how much we are ripped off in the Garden of heathens

  4. Вот почему никто не смотрит и не ставят лайк этим видео! Это же антипропаганда западному миру , что на нас санкции и у нас ничего нет! Автор, спасибо и лайк за видео!

  5. I’m just sitting in cafe have my breakfast in supermarket “Tesco” in North Wales. Watching this video, I’m just amazed, I don’t want to compare this supermarket with Moscow. I just want to say well done Russia 👍10out of10👍👍👍Thank you Russell 👍

  6. It is everywhere the same. There are people who take all the fresh fruit, squeeze them and throw them back because they
don´t like squeezed fruit. I hate this.

  7. Prices for coffe, despite auch lower exchange rate for one ruble, are not cheap at all, and there is no real Western European standard in choice.

  8. In New Zealand, we're paying about 0.6 USD per egg, so about 7 USD for a dozen.

  9. yay for new zealand wines. looks like we beat you aussies yet again haha

  10. Hello Russell,
Us scousers keep the tomato ketchup as simply, tomato sauce.
    As for the selection,
the supermarket featured within your video is extremely well varied and indeed value for money,
even your eggs have the old-fashioned white shells that we had back in the 1970s.
Thank you, Russell, for yet again for a very comprehensive range.
    Price examples,
    One pint of milk £1.20
    Branded toilet paper £3.80
Loaf of white sliced bread £1.60
Bottle of scotch whisky £18.00 per litre
shops are not permitted to sell Russian vodka,
Absinth, as far as I'm aware, is unavailable,
unfortunately, as a none drinker, I don't really know.
Standard vodka was my girlfriends favourite,
    but alas not available,
it was always, £16.00 per litre.
    We don't have Caviar,
only normal fish in the sense of,
Cod, Haddock; Plaice and the likes.
I hope this has been useful x

  11. Schogetten are very expensive there. In germany it is one of the cheapest brands. They cost now 1,29€/100g and 0,69€ as spezial offer. In 2022 the price was 0,89€ but then all prices rises up to 60%.

  12. 29:00 'Whole loaves' are no problem; I do keep them in the bridge, and when needed, I take some slices out the bridge, and let them warm up to room temperature, during some time, before consumption! I, often, also do warm up my bread in the microwave, half a minute, or so, at 360W.

  13. These guys a bit conservative on season fruit and vege supplies. Much wider selection in any Moscow Auchan and Globus.

  14. Well done. Really good video. Maybe next time, if there is one, one could take a closer look at fresh meats, veggies, butters and spices.

  15. Главное чуваку найти кока колу. Без неё никак , жизни нет

  16. The prices generally seem quite cheap compared to the UK. What is the average wage in Russia as that balances the cheap prices?
EDIT : Just looked and it seems to be around $700 a month on average, which compared to USA/Europe is very low.
In the UK, the average weekly wage is around $750, so Russians seem to earn a quarter of the UK salary.

  17. Thanks yes. Beer is way cheaper than here in South Africa but from what I could see the hard alcohol seems more expensive. Was interested to see the coffee prices as they seem to have the same brands as here. Nescafé, Douwe Egberts, Jacobs. I could not see the prices. Cheese per kg, meat per kg would be interesting.

  18. Hi Russell, at the minute 15.48 just above the Barilla pasta boxes I saw pasta La Molisana, I never imagined you'd be able to buy this pasta in Russia, I'm paying double the price in Sydney. You may not know this but La Molisana is the best pasta money can buy anywhere in the world, bar none. On a more somber note I have to tell you the arse has fallen out of the Aussie "peso". Cheers from OZ mate.

  19. Are there discount stores or thrift stores in Russia? If so I would like to see videos on those.

  20. Russians need to realize that they have certain things and take it for granted and that people in the west cannot even dream about these things that Russians take for granted.

  21. Если он так и будет по супермаркетам шляться, то скоро мне в монитор уже не влезет.

  22. Hey Russel! Funny to see you show the Rumiantsevo business center. I just moved to Salarievo recently, from the EU, and waiting for my residence permit now! Been in Rumiantsevo a few times, so it was fun to actually recognize the entrance at the start of the video. Maybe I'll see you around!

  23. I should also highlight that living in Russia isn’t just affordable for most people, it is also safer than in any country in the so called “west.” In Russia you can walk everywhere safe. You won’t encounter numerous homeless or crackheads like in London or San Francisco.

  24. Price on russia is same like in wien. Austria. My pension is 1300€. I am happy Russian can shopping for so cheap

  25. hello Russell!i i am an Italian following you from China , I suggest you to try Liguori, La Molisana and Garofalo brand of pasta, much much better than Barilla in my opinion, ley me know if you try :). Here in China 12 organic eggs at Hema supermarket are 27 yuan (3.7 dollars) 12 regular eggs are around 12 yuan (1,64 dollars) but you can buy them by weight too , much cheaper , no packaging , just a small plastic bag, I cant recall the price sorry .

  26. Prices are really low in Russia, where i live eggs, bread and milk are almost double the price!
