  1. AMEX platinum has the entire package and has been consistent. From travel insurance, lounge access, hotel status. Along with the travel credit.

  2. I like the access to multiple lounges. Can just live at the airport or get free food for a year. Prefer to buy my own comprehensive travel insurance.

    DC count on Facebook comment

  3. I like the periodic cashback offers for the various hotel chains though wish they weren’t limited to Australia.

  4. I like the sound of the lounge access 🤩 Would make long stop overs a lot more comfortable than the alternative 😬 Can’t wait to try a lounge one day!

  5. My Favourite Amex benefit is the ability to convert Member Rewards to Marriott Bonvoy points when there is a bonus offer on such as now. This opens up so may airline reward programs that we don't normally have access to in Australia.

  6. Favourite AMEX benefit – The lounge pass. Melbourne's lounge is not bad, and a good place to snack before going on a long haul.

  7. The hotel benefits, it’s a massive selling point with all the additional extras, especially breakfast which is usually $50USD + a day PP

plus the guarantee late check out which is a massive bonus when you have an evening flight

  8. The points! they make me travel mostly free and let my fly business class and stay at 5 stars hotels ❤
