The Innoshima Bridge is a Japanese suspension bridge, part of the 59 kilometer Nishiseto Expressway(Shimanami Kaido) linking the islands of Honshu and Shikoku.

Completed in 1983, it has a main span of 770 metres (2,526 ft) and connects Mukaishima, Hiroshima with Innoshima, Hiroshima.

    因島大橋は、瀬戸内海に浮かぶ因島と向島を結ぶ西瀬戸自動車道「しまなみ海道」を構成する全長1,270m、主塔高136mの吊橋です。

    幅約800mの”布刈瀬戸”と呼ばれるこの海峡は、瀬戸内海の主要航路、来島海峡の副航路で、1日に400隻の大型船舶が通行するため、桁下は50mだそうです。
    この辺りの島々は傾斜地で日当りがよいことと、夏の降水量や年間の降水日数が少ないという瀬戸内特有の温暖な気候でレモンをはじめ柑橘類の栽培が盛んです🍋🍊

    こんにちは。しまなみ海道ですね。
    今治側から1回だけ車で走破した事がありますけど、
    高速道からの眺めと天空からの眺めでは、やはり圧倒的に天空の勝ち(*´∨`*)｡･｡･ﾟ★･｡･｡☆
    もう、まさかこんな風光明媚な世界を走り抜けていたなんて全く気づきませんでした。

    広島の因島は全く行ったことありませんので、見入りました。日本海側の風景と全く違って、岩場の無い代わりに、島が有り、そして因島大橋も素晴しく大きいですね。今回も素晴しい眺めでした。
