Walk through beautiful port town, Hirado ~ Historic port town in Nagasaki, Kyushu Japan.
Hirado and its remote village, Kasuga village are the World Heritage Sites ~ Hidden Christian Sites in the Nagasaki Region.

Crossed the Hirado Ohashi Bridge and strolled around the beautiful port town of Hirado. We first walked around the streets where we could see the Hirado Xavier Memorial Church, a church and a temple, then passed by the yacht harbor and strolled through the retro and historical streets. It is a very enjoyable town to stroll around. We then drove 20 minutes to the Kasuga Village Information Center. A nice man introduced us to the history and highlights of Kasuga village, a World Heritage site. We had coffee on the terrace, so we had a latte and some casdoce, a local sweet that I bought at a souvenir shop in Hirado. It is a very relaxing and peaceful place to visit.

平戸大橋を渡り、美しい平戸の港町を散策しました。まずは平戸ザビエル記念教会、教会と寺院が見える街並みを歩き、ヨットハーバー横を通り、レトロな街並みや歴史を感じる街並みを散策しました。お散歩がとても楽しい街です。その後、車で20分ほど走り 春日集落案内所へ。素敵なおじさまが世界遺産である春日集落の歴史や見どころを紹介してくれました。テラスでコーヒーを飲む事ができるので、そこでカフェラテと、平戸のお土産やで買った地元のお菓子、カスドースをいただきました。とてもゆったりとした時間が流れる場所で、リラックスできます。
