Shiki-Sai Sushi Izakaya NOW OPEN 🍣 Disney World EPCOT food review 2023

EPCOT Japan pavilion has a new restaurant with Shiki-Sai Sushi Izakaya having tons of vegan and not vegan disney world food available. We were so happy to see cast from other locations around the EPCOT Japan pavilion located at Shiki Sai Sushi Izakaya, offering their favorite vegan disney world food options from the new dining menu. Familiar faces are always nice when you’re trying new dishes, especially when you have so many vegan options to try and they recommend at least five. Shiki-Sai Sushi Izakaya at EPCOT is officially opening August 30th 2023 and offers a variety of dishes to share with your friends and family, from sushi and sashimi to teppan and izakaya classics. You’ll also get to experience the essence of Japan’s seasonal festivals, with each month bringing a new celebration to your table. Whether you’re celebrating Tanabata in July, moon-viewing in September, or cherry blossoms in April, you’ll be immersed in the culture and traditions of Japan with every bite. Plus, you’ll enjoy stunning views of EPCOT, the World Showcase Lagoon, and the fireworks from the second floor of the Japan pavilion. And did you know that Shiki-Sai means “four seasons” in Japanese? That’s because the restaurant features beautiful hand-painted artwork and lanterns that showcase the natural wonders of Japan throughout the year. You’ll also be amazed by the trellis inspired by the roof of the Phoenix Hall in Kyoto, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Shiki-Sai Sushi Izakaya is more than just a restaurant, it’s an adventure for your senses. Don’t miss this opportunity to taste, see, and feel the spirit of Japan at EPCOT.

  1. Sooo happy to hear this is great for us vegans! So grateful you reviewed this so quickly <3

  2. Yessssss we were hoping you’d have a chance to try it! So exciting to have a new restaurant and it looks amazing! I was worried about the lack of vegan options on the menu, so thank you for spending a small fortune to showcase them all! ❤

  3. Thank y'all sooo much for this fun review!! We're sad we missed it by a couple days on this last trip, but definitely adding it to a future itinerary. I love veggie rolls, especially with sweet potato. I'm daydreaming about that plum one now!! Question – our 11-year old will say sushi is her favorite food but she'll only eat an avocado cucumber roll 🤣🤷‍♀️ will they make custom rolls to accommodate a picky "tween"?

  4. The food here looked beautiful and amazing. As a fan of Japanese food my mouth was watering this whole video.

  5. Love your channel. I have no idea why you don’t have over 100,000 followers. I enjoy the way you guys describe food, especially bears descriptions. Looking forward to going to Epcot soon to try this Japanese restaurant

  6. Tuna and unagi are where it's at!! Saw there's otoro on the menu 👀 those veggie skewers and the apps looked incredible, too. Thank you for showcasing such a wide variety of options! Snagged a rezzy and very excited to go ape on the skewers and sashimi 🦧

  7. So excited for this! Thank you for such an early review and for trying so many menu items!!!

  8. So excited to see this review! Thank you so much. This will now be on our short list for October. The vegan options look great!!!

  9. I want everything! I have never seen so much vegan food at a Japanese restaurant. Yes Bear, tuna is best. You will inspire me to make make Japanese tomorrow.

  10. Wow you guys are a machine and on the ball reviewing this place already! Besides the awesome review what kept catching my eye was the beautiful progression of sun down/night time behind you…at one point everything started to light up. You guys are the best, I hope to try this one day!

  11. Like you, contrary to popular opinion, I absolutely loved Tokyo Dining.
Now you've got me totally psyched for this new restaurant.
I absolutely can't wait to go there on my December trip. Thank you!

  12. Yay! A new must-have dining reservation. I'd love to do the skewers, but $30 for a small amount of veggies…… Yikes. Drop it to $20 and add a tofu skewer and I'd go for that.

  13. I’d say someone really listened to the reviews of Tokyo Dining and has tried to turn this into something more deserving of that great view in the Japan pavilion. I was truly let down when I ate there in 2018. I felt like it used to be very mediocre overpriced food, but it’s such a beautiful building. I’m so glad it’s been given the attention it needed.

  14. Everything looks delicious!!!! 🤤🤤🤤 amazing review as always. Thia definitely looks like a must have every visit

  15. I can’t wait to try this out ! I’ll be in WDW in December but not sure for how many days yet, at least 1 park day, hubbys birthday, I’m hoping he picks this as his birthday dinner 😅

  16. Loved your review, it was pricey but for the quality it seems very fair. Maybe more fair than premium dining over at France or Canada pavilion, easily as expensive and maybe not on par for the quality. This place does not appear to serve theme park style food.
