🥒 ABOUT BEFRS:
Hey, I’m Sonny! I’m from the US but I’ve been living in Asia for 10 years and started making food and travel videos to document my experiences. I travel to different parts of the world, hunting down and documenting the most unique food each country has to offer.
If you see any factual food errors in my videos, please feel free to politely let me know in the comments. I’m a huge fan of trying different, interesting foods in each country. My show is from a Western point of view, but more importantly, MY point of view. It is not meant to offend any person or culture.

You deserve your own show! You cover so many different culinary styles and cultures! I've learned so much from watching your adventures.
Have a good day or night depending where the best food review show crew is but have safe trips and good fun
Definitely got the kee thak after eating the raw 🦀 and 🍤!
PLEASE try pug pug in Manila next time you’re there! Drew Binsky made an amazing & informative video on it, but he wasn’t bold enough to try the pug pug 😂 While watching I couldn’t help but think, compared to the stuff Sonny eats, this would be a walk in the park for him! Lol!
Vegans are gonna go ballistic over the live crabs but like, if you're farming soybeans with tractors, you will kill the same number of wild animals, more or less, and their deaths are wasted because they are not eaten. Whether it is plants or animals, we have to eat other life to survive, and getting up close and personal with it is more honest.
I do wonder about how the economics of this village work. There are many things like spices and the rice flour and the beer (though maybe Sonny brought the beer as a gift, if I were showing up to a village to film I'd do that) that have to be bought, which implies the production of trade goods. Obviously Sonny is focused on the food, but I wonder what the village is bringing to markets. And, relatedly, what jobs you do if you are old or sick or have a bad leg and can't go digging for crabs or getting ant eggs or whatever. Maybe it is making those baskets or mending nets? Someone has to mend the nets.
This co host sucks. He's so pretentious. Theres plenty of American families that rely on hunting to pay the bills and get by. He needs to realize not everyone lives in some garbage "progressive" city bubble. Best part about this is him realizing he has nothing in common with real Laotians
20:58 is it tough ??
Naw, its like eating a crunchy $h!t 😮😂
I know he said chip , but i swear i heard what i heard 😅😅
AWESOME EPISODE 👌 guys Thank You !
this is like som tum laos
eaten in udon Thani by the issans
Kroto (semut ngangkrang) 😂
im so happy watching you sonny and your buddy together much love guys
Ant eggs are one of my favorites. When I was in the Philippines, my grandma would sauté them in garlic, onion, and tomatoes. The live shrimp dish is called jumping salad in the Philippines.
To be fair, eating an animal does not constitute as "harming" them as far as the law is concerned.
It's meant to cover abuse, not cooking and eating.
Honestly, what ARE ant eggs? They are bigger than ant. How do they lay eggs bigger than themselves?
Sonny has eaten everything, so he is like "Can I leave the claws?" not enough adrenaline rush, Sonny?
Hey Sonny can you please bring back the bandanas,I really want to own one.
I honestly didn't know you can eat algae
I literally got a rocket mortgage ad right before the video started 😭
I like Yia. He really experienced his culture.
Bought a hoodie and quality is better than i expected. I shrunk it a bit on accident so might have to order another, but that was my bad😂
Food trying to run out of his mouth literally 😨
ສະບາຍດີ❤
At exactly 21:00 “it taste like a crunchy shit” had me dying of laughter 😭🤣
That was knarly with the crunch of those live crabs….Bro dude you ate that green hair from the river raw….so gross…. You had have gotten sick from eating live crab and shrimp from that dirty river…. yuck for you but entertaining for us I guess

First time, i saw Sonny facial expression like that when Yia was eating the little crab.
This is for sure the Best Ever Food Review Show!
I just have to ask why not eat the ants as well, they're good and good for them.
