What's the weirdest place you've ever visited?
Pig Island in Japan
I've been to some of these places (Salar de Uyuni, Danakil Depression, Deadvlei, the Catacombs of Paris), however, the weirdest place I've ever visited so far is, without a doubt, Turkmenistan as a whole. Ashgabat (its capital) is as weird as it gets in terms of empty opulence and the Darvaza gas crater is an incredible human mistake. Such a weird country.
