A lot of people know what it’s like to live in a large city in Japan. As a rule cities like Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, or Nagoya are highly desirable. But what about the countryside? Due to the extremely well developed and maintained mass transit of Japan living in the countryside should be an option considered by more people. With all the benefits like lower rent, more space, and generally far better price performance for your money, it’s definitely an avenue worth exploring. In this video I take you on a tour of what could be considered a typical 2LDK apartment in Japan. I also do a break down of the cost of living there with details such as rent and utilities.
