BANGKOK’S MOST USEFUL FOOD COURT! ✈️ 🇹🇭 Street Food Prices at Bangkok Airport

Now you’ll notice I’ve named Magic Garden as Bangkok’s most useful food court, not necessarily Bangkok’s BEST food court. Seeing there are literally thousands of food courts in Bangkok, that would be ridiculous.

The reason I’m saying most useful is that Don Muang Airport’s choices when you pass security are abysmal. So, I suggest you head to Magic Garden before or after your flight to stock up on some very good Thai street food classics at very reasonable prices. This is, in my opinion, the best and cheapest food in Don Mueang Airport.

Is Magic better than say Terminal 21 Food Court? The two dishes I had were better than anything I’ve had there

Magic Garden is a Typical Thai food court with typical Thai prices, at least half of what you will pay if you eat through departures!

There are stalls selling duck noodles, noodle soup, pad Thai, pork leg stew (khao Ka Moo), Halal food, amazing Isan, icluding a top 5 som tum Thai and the best soup I’ve ever eaten in an airport – Kuay Teow Sukhothai!

My name’s Gary and I’ve been living in Bangkok for the past five plus years and travelling Thailand for over ten. I’m obsessed with Thai street food and it’s that obsession that led me to start this YouTube channel. I want to share my favourite hidden spots in Bangkok and the rest of Thailand so you can fall in love with authentic, local Thai food as much as I have!

I’ve never understood travelling to a town or city and not eating the local food. How else do you really connect with a place? Let’s get out and explore together and I guarantee you’ll find a whole different side to this wonderful country.

If you love seeing off the beaten path, non-touristy, local life and authentic local life in Bangkok and Thailand then this is the channel for you. If go go bars on the Sukhumvit Road are more your thing (I’m not judging) then maybe not!

  1. Love the channel. Would love you to do some reviews of places in Nonthaburi where I live! Purely selfish I know! Maybe in the Owl market.

  5. Coming to Bangkok for the first time in October. My google maps is full of stars that I’ve added from your videos, can’t wait to try them all 🎉

  6. Might have to try this. I stay up by Don Meung a lot. Be there around the start of Sept again

  7. Don Muaeng has good food? Usually book early morning flight out and not fully awake. Do you know what time they open? Got to be better than pre cooked Air Asia meals.

  8. Hi Gary, hope everyone is well in England. I'm sure you are missing the authentic Thai food right about now. . Hang in there, before you know it, you'll be back in Thailand in no time.

  9. Glad I have lounge access at DMK so I don’t pay airport price food but good to know there is decent food available just in case.

  10. 2 great dishes for less than £4.50…it costs you more to drop people off at Heathrow Airport now! Cant even get a manky sarnie for that in there!

  11. Hope you and your family and your Mother-in-law is getting better. Thank you for keeping the channel rolling. Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

  12. Welcome back HERO GB. อิ๊ๆ ยินดีต้อนรับกลับบ้านครับ คิดเสมอคุณคือความภูมิใจของคนไทย

  13. If you come in international rather than domestic, is it easy to access? Also, thinking of your stay in England and hoping all is going well for family. Don't paint too many houses, that's kind of boring (been there, done that). Best wishes and hope to see you back in Thailand soon.

  14. Welcome Back. I missed seeing your videos in BKK. I didn't watch any of your videos in Vietnam. Look forward to seeing more your adventure in BKK particularly Thai foods.

  15. Won't be going to Don Mueang but I know that my kids will beat me over the head unless we eat at the Colonel's greasy trash. I hope that there's something similar at Suvarnabumi as we have a 4 hour layover before flying home and will need to get my fix as it will be a bit of a wait till my next visit.

  16. There used to be a staff food place i used in between the terminals downstairs – don’t know f its still there?

  17. there's one more magic garden food court on the walk way from the air port to BTS red line. And for Suwannaphum air port there's one on the left side of Taxi floor

  18. From : Hotel in Kao-San road. Come on "The Old Siam" 1st floor food court you can eat original Thai famous food.
