Asian Street Food Market

The Saigon Summer Night Market now brings Asian street food to Clearwater, Florida!

Open every Saturday and Sunday night since the beginning of June, the market boasts more than 30 food, drink and fresh vegetable vendors. You can find everything from hand-wrapped lumpia and spring rolls to 2-pound, foot-long giant prawns, softball sized clams and snails so fresh they’re still moving.

Located at 14100 U.S. 19 N at Clearwater’s Little Saigon Plaza, the market is full of Vietnamese, Korean and other Asian delicacies. It offers a way to sample a variety of freshly made street foods, desserts and milk teas. Prices range from $1 bottled water and $5 charred squid on a stick to $10 grilled oysters and $35 giant prawns. Seating is available at picnic tables and there are plenty of standing tables.

There’s also a live DJ playing K-Pop music and Asian karaoke. Parking is very limited, so arrive early, or be patient. Market hours are 6-11 p.m. Saturdays and 5-10 p.m. Sundays. All purchases are cash only. Admission is free. (Kelly Stefani)
