  1. Brilliant video – thanks!! Being a foodie I watch your videos for places to eat here in Tokyo as I've realised we tend to share the same taste. We can safely say that I've become somewhat of a food stalker. I hope the offer of a free drink still stands, regardless I'm going there as soon as possible because scallops are my favourite seafood and I had no idea that there was an actual restaurant dedicated to only scallops – dream come true…

  2. I appreciate the restaurant fellow speaking in English. I'm not into seafood but it looked as if you two had a wonderful meal.

  3. Scallopsss, yumm. Love seafood. Being from Lima,Perù ,we have a large Japanese and Chinese influence plus i'm from a small fisherman town. Thank you shinichi and satoshi. Say hi to justin! 😎🐶

  4. I just love you guys! I wish I had made my first trip to Asia to meet you guys but Thailand first for my 60th birthday THEN YOU GUYS!!!!!!!

  5. What an amazing concept for a restaurant! I absolutely adore scallops…my favorite seafood! The owner really was gracious, knowledgeable and accomodating. The food looked gorgeous and delicious. Thank you for sharing Shinichi and Shanoshi! 😊❤

  6. Scallops are one of my favorite seafoods, other than tuna and salmon! They looked soooooooooy yumm-o

  7. Scallop- is the king of all shellfish.
Lobster and Crab and Shrimp combined can’t carry Scallop’s jockstrap!
    Scallops, R U L E.
    🙇

  8. Those gentlemen in the shop, I’m not sure if they are also the owners, but what terrific energy!
You can immediately experience their authenticity by their smiles- they love their work/business.
I LOVE & RESPECT micro businesses that are based on extreme outlier standards of excellence-
Such as a scallop only (basically) theme.
They are experts in the scallop.
What a fantastic thing for them
Since they want to share the Hokkaido scallop!
    By the way-
I e been eating and LOVING the scallop since I can remember- and I’m old enough to remember songs coming out- from the 70’s
And I can say this unequivocally-
    Regarding those sashimi scallops.. 🤩
Those scallops—- are from a magic place!
I’ve never seen scallops like those in this video.
    And that scallop roll…
I think the Geneva Convention outlawed that roll – it could cause taste rebellions!
We give much love and thanks to the scallops- and any living thing plant or animal- that give their life energy for us to use as sustenance – and not just enjoyment, but definitely the gift of pleasure some derive from the taste and smells and purity of beautiful things.
    🙇🙏🏻

  9. Their fishing pole seems a lot easier to use than the last place. Considering you only get two minutes, they probably tried to make it a bit easier so customers wouldn't feel ripped off if they couldn't catch anything.

  10. I wouldn't trust cooks in America to make raw scallops safe for consumption. Would have to pay a good penny for a chef to do it right, or go to a reputable Japanese restaurant.

  11. This place looks so AMAZING! I would love to try all the different scallops with the sake. I wish we had such a place where I live. I love how knowledgeable to owner is. This is some one who loves his craft.

  12. Wow! What a great restaurant with the best atmosphere . Raw scallops so jealous, as a seafood lover , they served you so many succulent dishes. I will definately go there on my visit to Japan. Thankyou TabiEats 😚👍

  13. I was so sad to hear that this place has closed 🙁 Was it because of Covid? Boo. I hope that they can eventually re-open. If they do, I'll be there! I would love to try all those scallops (and the chicken too) as well as the sake that Shinichi was able to drink (because I don't drink that much either).

  14. As someone who adores scallops, this restaurant looked AMAZING. Everything about it was awesome, and you guys really seemed to enjoy it. LOVED it!!!

  15. Just now I wanted to mark the restaurant in Google map so that next time I can visit there. But Google map said that their shop is permanently closed…. 🙁
