Hi everyone, I’m Jake. Today is February 20th in 2023. Now, I’m in abroad, and today I will go back to Japan. So today I will show you the real experience of entering to Japan. Of course I’m Japanese citizen of Tokyo, so there are few differences between foreigners and the citizens. But maybe almost the same flow of entering process. Let’s check out how long time does it take time to entering to Japan. Let’s go. Now I’m go out from the immigration. Taking time from the landing is about 20 minutes or so. I registered Japan Visit Web before, taking time is very short. The feeling is just go through, kind of pass through. It’s very easy to go through related to quarantine. There are two roots, one is for pre-registered person, the another one is not registered person. If you don’t have a registered Visit Japan Web, it takes more time for checking your current condition or registering time. After I go to the immigration. I’m Japanese citizen, so very easy to enter to Japan. Immigration is also very easy. Here is the baggage claim place, from the landing to reach here; baggage claim place is about 20 min. It’s very easy. Compare to the during COVID, it’s very different situation. It’s become very easy. Finally I go out from arrival gate. The time is now, 5:54pm. I claimed baggage, it tooks a little bit time, but compare to the before, it’s becomes easier to enter Japan. Let’s come here and enjoy the Japanese travel. Thank you for watching. Very useful. I'm still waiting for my pre-registration for quarantine to be reviewed but since I'm flying in July they said they prioritize people coming sooner first. Comparing to other international airport I'm impressed it goes so fast. There is also a fair chance the quarantine won't be needed in a few months. I heard Japan plans to review the process again somewhere in May/June.

Jake-san, I read an article somewhere that most Japanese don't want to travel abroad and although Japanese passport is widely accepted, the passport ownership is still very low (under 20% of its population). It's understandable though, since you have so many beautiful places to visit inside your own country. How about you, do you feel the same? If I was a Japanese, I would also feel lazy to visit other country, it must be stressful planning to travel outside Japan when Japan's tranportation is very efficient and punctual.

My son and I flew to Tokyo two weeks ago. It took us less than 45 minutes from the time we exited the plane until we thru immigration. And that included picking up luggage.
How many hours in advance (before arriving to Japan) we should fill up all the informations on Visit Japan Website….get all 3 QR codes?

Is it true that if you have to pick up a JR Pass, you cannot use the e-gate because you have to see an officer for a "stamp"?

Does Japan Airport accept 3 dose vaksin for sinovac? I mean 2 vaksin sinovac + booster sinovac completed. Both are sinovac, do we still need to do pcr test?
I arrived at Osaka Airport and the only thing doing it online was that I did not have to filll out the paper work, outside of that same long line. Took about two hours to get out of the airport.,
