Exploring Fushimi Inari’s Thousands of Iconic Orange Torii Gates | Kyoto, Japan Travel Vlog

Konnichiwa from Kyoto! We just arrived on the Shinkansen bullet train from Odawara – after 3 hours and 5 minutes we traveled over 340 km and are ready to explore this incredible city!
Today we’re visiting the iconic Fushimi Inari Shrine, famous for its thousands of vibrant orange torii gates that wind through the hills. We’ll take you along the mesmerizing tunnel of gates as we stroll the lower portion of the 2.5 mile hike. You’ll learn about the fascinating Shinto religion, fox messengers, and see the many offerings left by visitors over the centuries.
